The Internet Surround Music Project has started an Internet forum at www.tuner2.com for artists to publish 5.1 surround music and will run contests to encourage aspiring artists. You provide the music, we provide the encoder and the online distribution. Our first contest is underway! Winners will receive gear and software from Cakewalk, Jazz Mutant, Minnetonka Audio, Native Instruments, and Steinberg. They will also be eligable for distribution in a future release of Winamp! Register now, the deadline to upload is June 30, 2005.
I haven't gotten into surround sound yet, though I've listened to some awesome examples. Anyone here produce in surround?
