Liquid Tension Experiment
Anybody else love these guys? They've only got 2 cds, and that's probably all they're doing, but I love both cds. They're really spontaneous and they have some songs completely improvised.

That's the band with Tony Levin on stick, right?
Starfinger had one of their CDs when he lived here. They were good!
Haven't actually heard them since, though.

Yeah. One of my buddies was telling me that Levin really didn't have a chance to shine on Liquid Tension esperiment because a lot of it is speed playing and he'a a really laid-back player, but in my opinion, he gave a great latin-vibe to the band, which is really one of the main reasons I love them.HeuristicsInc wrote:That's the band with Tony Levin on stick, right?
They were. They're pretty much done, as three of the four members are now in Dream Theater, so there is really no more reason to continue ... if you really like them, even though you're done, you could pick up a Transatlantic or OSI CD ... those are some of Mike Portnoy's side project bands, as was Liquid Tension Experiment.HeuristicsInc wrote:They were good!
