G4 has viewers? That's almost as crazy as saying "G4 has new episodes of shows."

--don't bother past this point--

I had asked the 4-track news group to review my first real attempt at song writing ,OUCH! I was amazed that I wasn't lauded as the next insainly great guitar god. They had no mercy and no constructive critisim ( blue is an amature compared to these dudes). I even considered selling my guitars.

About that time I found out the intern who sat in the next cube was a gtr player, so I related my painfull story of NNTP inpiried self loathing. Turns out he had just submitted in the trouble maker fight with the ' hot sauce boss.' band. Not long after me and a friend submiited a cellar door song that got crap reviews but a few people said - the guitar playing was ok. Whoo Hoo! I've been missing SF deadlines ever since.

Penny Arcade, as Albatross previously mentioned. Though Rabid's been around a while longer than that, making songs about actors and other such absurdities. Well, starting them and posting the works in anti-progress at my site, anyway  Albatross always finished the stuff he posted there.

explodingdog and drew's old corrupt.net blog-ish thing were on Dumbrella. I looked at Dumbrella to see what else was on it. There was something called "Songfight" which sounded pretty cool.

Someone on the Spinto Band board wondered where Brown Boxes had come from and someone explained that it was from a songfight contest. Intrigued, I headed over to download all of their entries.

Hey! That article called me a "low-rent act!"

Which is bullshit. I'm a NO-rent act.

geekrock'mo told me about it in April 2004. He challenged me to submit. I finally did that December.

How I found out abput Song Fight!

Post by Angel of Rock »

My brother, who seems to be on a lot. No names, but if he's smart he'll know who I am. Muahahahahahahaha! Anyway, I'm still a newbie and I don't have much talent yet. That will change thanks to Adam J. and my good friend Matthew D.
