What exactly is a "mudsucker".

I mean, is it something specific - or just a general term of abuse (or affection)?

(Google tells me it's a type of fish found in San Francisco Bay Gillichthys mirabilis - but that doesn't seem to fit the context in which it is used here)

nobody "owns" songfight; spud and jb are kind enough to volunteer A LOT of their time and resources to help keep it running smoothly.

you seem to have a hell of a lot to say about democracy, but it doesn't seem to matter to you that nobody else shares your opinion that things need to change.

That's what jerks like yerselves do to legitamize your presence.
