How do you vote?

Post by Egg »

How? huh?

Obviously, there is some interplay between these options. If you vote for the song you think is best, you are very similar to the person who votes for the song they want to win... but I think those are different, and I've heard weird comments on the boards that imply some people have personal favorites that are like guilty pleasures which they want to vote for, regardless of the presence of a better song in the fight. Or something. You know, think about it and make your decision. And uh
glug glug glug egg makes wine. You can make wine too.

I vote for the song I would listen to again or would happily listen to at a live performance without 'going to get some air'. If there are no songs I like, I don't vote.

I vote for the best song, which is invariably myself. Or occasionally TMK or Phunt. Or Jute. Or Special Relatives. And maybe once Seavers. But usually it's me, because I kick major ass.

I vote for the one that I like and want to win. I thought more people would vote that way, but whatever.

But let's be honest, about 70% of the time I just plain forget to vote. :) :(

I am a) flattered and blushing b) looking for the opener for the can of whoop-ass I'm about to open! The last fight was close indeed, and I eagerly await the results of the latest round. Did you perhaps enter for Late For Babies, hmmm? What...feeling a bit unsure are we? Oh. It's just indigestion you say? sigh .

And I kick more ass than...someone!

Usually I vote for the best overall entry. Sometimes that can be altered if certain people are among the artists listed because of pre-existing fanship or dislike of said artist.
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

I dish out mutliple IP pity votes to Luke Henley quite a lot. He's not very good, but he has got a massive unjustified ego to support ...

Nah, I think that's an urban myth - I've certainly yet to see any evidence of it
