Saw it last night in not so glorious normal cinema, but it was the screen with the big boomy soundsystem and bigger screen, which is nice.

I really loved it. The therapist guy was so insanely cute. If evil. But cute. And it all tied together nicely.

You can see, uh, all of him in 28 Days Later if you're so inclined. A+ from me too. See it in IMAX if you can.
Aren't you the guy that hit me in the eye?

A-. It blew away my expectations, but still had some hokey scenes. Also Christopher Nolan did a very good job making it believable (something that Batman absolutely needs; something that Ang Lee and Sam Raimi could not pull off) with the exception of the antagonist's plan, which was beyond convoluted. Still, the best Batman movie yet. During the amazingly well done scene where Bruce finally realizes that the symbol he must become is that of a bat, I kept having flashbacks Arnie shouting "ICE TO SEE YOU!!" in the last movie. Yes, this is a better batman.

For a superhero movie - 9/10
For a move - 7/10

I'm getting really tired of the genre. This was a good movie, though. I can do with less 1-liners. I knew Gary Oldman was going to say "Nice car" or "I gotta get me one of those" after seeing the batmobile.

I saw this a couple weeks ago in IMAX and was completely blown away. It was pretty much riveting the entire time. There were some points at the end during the climactic sequence where there were some extraneous lines of dialog spoken by extras that were corny and stupid, but otherwise, damn, this was awesome. Bring on the sequels!!

Great great great great great. Christian Bale rules in this. Cillian Murphy's creepy as all hell. I don't have much more to say I guess, except that also Kate Holmes is tolerable and Michael Caine also rules. in this. so. AAAAAAAA++++++++++ would see again

I saw it for the first time yesterday on HBO. I thought it started REALLY slow and halfway through I was ready to turn the channel. However the last half picks up nicely and by the end I was silently applauding. I'd give it a B-
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

Cripes, they've cast friggin' Heath Ledger as the Joker for the next Batman movie. :(

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0468569/

One might say that he'll be playing against type as the bad guy, which could work in his favor, conceivably. Personally I think he's mush mouthed and annoying, and I just can't see him being convincing as a stark raving mad murderer.

Heath Ledger = less talented christian slater. and that's really saying something, as Banarama once sang.
