State of Emergency by
Abominominous
featuring Heather from The Hell Yeahs (odds) and Brian from Spy Vs Pie (evens)

1 Panic on the streets of London
2 panic on the streets of Vancouver, B.C.

3 There's a mitigated menace that's about to descend
4 We got our best people on it but don't know what it is yet
5 But we're sure that's gonna disasterize
6 So we're confidently livin' out the last day of our lives

7 Riot in the aisles of the Big Lots
8 Looters on the deck of the Enterprise
9 Confiscate the evidence of Australopithecus
10 Eat out of a backpack full of hot dogs and junior mints

11 There's a devastatin' detriment about to unleash
12 It could be one of fifty things or it could be one of each
13 and we're sure that it's gonna obliterate,
14 so we're makin' sure that everything until then is so great

15 Freakout in the homes of the upper-class
16 Mania for mangy smokin' beans in a can

17 There's calamity coagulatin' somewhere for sure,
18 It'll kick in any minute and there's isn't a cure

19 So I'm takin' off my shirt in the pawn shop
20 Make illegal copies of my mattress tags

21 There's a catastrophic sumpin' that's a fixin' to fall
22 So we're bringin' bags of killer bees to free in the mall
23 because there might not be next weekend
24 So I got a lot of livin' that I gotta fit in.

25 There's a detrimental devestate about to unsheath
26 It could hammer from above or shoot up from underneath
27 and we're sure that it's gonna obliterize
28 so we're makin' tapioca outta bald eagles eyes

29 There's a sumpin' catastrophic that's a stirrin' to start
30 So we're drinkin' laquer thinner out behind the old K-Mart
31'cause there might not be next Monday
32 And if we gotta go well then we're doin' it our way

Panic! In the bungalows of Inglewood
Panic! On the streets of Azuza
Panic! In the trailers of Muncie
Panic! In the gift shoppes of Bollywood
Panic! At the steakhouse on Midway
Panic! In the bathrooms of Parliament
Panic! In the 405 diamond lane
Panic! It's a state of emergency!

State Of Emergency
by Billy's Little Trip
Featuring my son Cody doing back up vocals

-verse-
Mental distortion shows,
the signs of my time
Pulsating vibes of sound,
cluttering up my mind
Self medication calls,
it's going to rape my soul
Living for the day I'm free,
when it's time to pay the toll
I need some sweet release
I need to clear my head
I need some sweet release
I need to clear my head
I can't define myself
I can't find my keys
I can't fix myself
Can someone help me please

-chorus-
You don't owe me
You don't want to see the way I do
You don't want to be like me
You don't want to feel the way I feel

-verse-
I need that piece cut out,
that piece that makes me feel
I need that piece fried out,
It's hiding me from me
I need to heal myself,
and everyone inside
I just don't have the tools,
my will has long since died
I need some sweet release
I need to clear my head
I need some sweet release
I need to clear my head
Why can't I find myself
Why can't I find the key
How can I fix myself
Can someone help me please

-chorus-
You don't know me
You don't want to see the way I do
You don't want to be like me
You don't want to feel the way I feel

-verse-
I need some sweet release
I need to clear my head
I need some sweet release
I need to clear my head
I can't define myself
I can't find my keys
I can't fix myself
Can someone help me please

-chorus-
You don't owe me
You don't want to see the way I do
You don't want to be like me
You don't want to feel the way I feel
You don't know me
You don't want to see the way I do
You don't want to be like me
You don't want to feel the way I feel

State of Emergency

By Steve Durand

When we're together
I know that you're my own
But I begin to worry
When I'm all alone

It's my one desire
To possess you heart and soul
So like a sovereign nation
Here's how I'll take control

I'll declare a state of emergency
I'll close the borders down
Lock all the exits
And protect this plot of ground

I have a great sense of urgency
To avert catastrophe
And save my soul
Save my soul

I know you've told me
There's no guarantee
I will always have you
With me exclusively

But now you just might find out
How ruthless I can be
'Cause I'll take drastic action
To keep you here with me

I'll declare a state of emergency
I'll close the borders down
Lock all the exits
And protect this plot of ground

I have a great sense of urgency
To avert catastrophe
And save my soul
Save my soul

I'll do anything it takes
To protect my jealous heart
To me that means that you and I
Can never be apart

It's a state of emergency
I'll close the borders down
Lock all the exits
And protect this plot of ground

I have a great sense of urgency
To avert catastrophe
And save my soul
Save my soul

State of Emergency
lyrics by Puce and Bradsucks

Everywhere I go they're watching me from behind, out of sight
and when I tun I can almost see them in my eyes, and in mind
I'm sure you'd think that I'm crazy if I'd heard these voices in my head
But nothing makes more sense to me then all the things that they have said

To me, to me, to me, to me...

I just want you to know that I don't want to know
Anything that you give me I can get on my own
Runnin' out in the street with my heart on my sleave
Head stuck in a state of emergency

Everybody else is a machine, everyone but me, everyone but me
If you'd only see the things I've seen then you'd believe, you'd believe
I know you think you should intervene but I trust myself and I don't want your help
Disagree, but I don't need you questioning my mental health

Please leave, please leave, please leave, please leave...

I just want you to know that I don't want to know
Anything that you give me I can get on my own
Runnin' out in the street with my heart on my sleave
Head stuck in a state of emergency

I'm sure you think I'm going insane
(But I'm the only one without a implant in my brain)
I'm sure you think I'm paranoid
(But all work and no play make me a very dull boy)

I just want you to know that I don't want to know
Anything that you give me I can get on my own
Runnin' out in the street with my heart on my sleave
Head stuck in a state of emergency

No One Else
by The Bovine Recyclery

Where are you going?
I don't understand.
What happened to our perfect plan?
I'm overflowing with "no"s and "can't"s since you dropped down your despair dam.

Yeah, they're gonna take me out like General Tso's Chicken
They're gonna stick it to me like the DRM in Quicken

Oh how you're like time: I love when you fly!
You lift me up like family
You're the antithesis of gravity

CHORUS
No one else believes in me... like Tom does in Xenu
No one else supports me... (like suspenders on Urkel)
No one else would judge more than the cover
You're like no other

Where are you going?
Are you coming back?
Or must I tamper with demand?
Man, it's hard for me to negotiate when you're the only you on the marketplace.

<Chorus>

I can't move I can't breathe I can't find peace or liberty.
I can't smile, the best that I've got is simile.
Bring something back to me shiny and glittery like your number.

You're like no other.

No One Else
by my sleep-addled brain

No one else can crawl right up under my skin
Nothing's quite as sweet as the taste of your sin
No one else but you can cast the first stone
I never asked for me to be your personal Job

You don't want to get me started, oh baby, what's that sound?
He left you broken hearted so you put him in the ground
You call me codependent; You call the Lost & Found
Why should I act defensive when you're the one who's been (sleeping | fucking) around?

No one else can see right through me
No one else can stand your beauty
No one else can lick my wounds clean
No one else believes you truly

Oh why the hell would I want your help
when I could just help myself?
What makes you think I want some Southern Belle
Well, I never wanted no one else

No One Else
Tex Beaumont & The Dirty Hearts

Gather round lads, let me tell you a story
I know that it is sad, don’t know if it is true
The mill boys sing of a woman from Babinda
Who could swing a cane knife just like the gun cutters do
And when she’d swing she’d sing with a voice as clear as the morning
And her hips they swayed like the cane fields swayed
in the warm northern breeze
And when she moved she flowed like molassess
Dark and smooth and sweet
And her laugh was like the rain, wash away the solid heat

No one else ever looked that way
No one else ever sang that way
No one else ever moved that way
And when she walked through town all the Tully boys said
Shake it
Shake it
Shake it
Shake shake shake shake shake it

The monsoon rains came down in November
The Johnstone River ran brown and wide
Two cruel eyes watched as she rested by the water's edge
Old man croc snap!
The canelands cry
He go
Shake, roll, dive to the bottom of the river
Shake, roll, dive to the bottom of the river
Shake, roll, dive to the bottom of the river
Shake, roll, dive to the bottom of the river

That was many years before
The men don't swing their knives no more
but the cane fields are sill growing
The Johnstone is still flowing
And the old men watch the flames dance as the cane fields burn
The flames shake and dance as the memories return
No one else ever looked that way
No one else ever sang that way
No one else ever moved that way
And when she walked through town all the Tully boys said
Shake it

No One Else
Paco Del Stinko

They've all gone - the party's over
Everyone's left for home
PLease don't get me wrong - my heart felt closure
As soon as I hung up the phone

Yet here I am with you
I'll do everything that you ask me to

There's no one else
No one to hear
No one to fear
Nobody that's so dear to me

Let's take a walk - under the bland sky
We'll see people that we don't know
You hate to talk - I understand why
There's no good reason for the summer snow

I see you every day
And each time a little clearer
Only I can take you away
If I can just step through the mirror

The second sunset - was the last one
Every day now is the night
No more regret - that's long past done
There are several ways to say goodbye
Bringin' the stink since 2006.

No One Else
by Billy's Little Trip featuring Steve Durand And The Horny Brass Band

-verse-
Hit the City, gonna see some friends
Might get lucky, it all depends
Hit some clubs and have some drinks
Gonna dance the night away until the mutha fucker sinks
Feel the beat, it's breathing right through you
Staring eyes, they all wantz to do you
How you do that in high heel shoes?
Cuz you sure knowz how to shake it and you gotz doze moves

-chorus-
Feel'n hot and the time is right
Gonna take someone home tonight
Done trying to act so stealth
And then our eyes meet, and you realize there's no one else

-verse-
Mirror ball shooting out the stars
And you're dancing with your friends on a rocket to Mars
Don't wanna stop cuz you just don't care
Jump'n and you're spin'n with your hands in the air
Catch a smile from across the room
But you turn away cuz you're playing it cool
See you bouncen 'round while you're sit'n in your seat-o
You give a little wink-o while you're sip'n your mojito

-chorus-
Feel'n hot and the time is right
Gonna take someone home tonight
Done trying to be so stealth
And then our eyes meet, and you realize there's no one else

-verse-
Hit the City, gonna see some friends
Might get lucky, it all depends
Hit some clubs and have some drinks
Gonna dance the night away until the mutha fucker sinks
Feel the beat, it's breathing right through you
Staring eyes, they all wantz to do you
How you do that in high heel shoes?
Cuz you sure knowz how to shake it and you gotz doze moves

-chorus X2-
Feel'n hot and the time is right
Gonna take someone home tonight
Done trying to be so stealth
And then our eyes meet, and you realize there's no one else

Might as well include these here even if it wasn't officially submitted...

No One Else by The BeWells

These city streets are empty now
No rush to get home
Comfort in the solitude
Not so lonely here alone

Drifting on a distant din
I hear your laughter sound
I don't mind remembering
With no one else around

You'd walk in the clean night air
No set place to go
That last time you asked me to join
In the first winter snow

As dark falls the bustling fades
Best part of my day
Knowing you would have loved it her
With no one else in the way

Plain to see when it's too late
The right thing to do
Wondering if there could have been
No one else for you

(repeat first and second stanzas)

The Thing Most Easily Forgotten
by The Bovine Recyclery

*doorbell*

My name is Mister Bogglesworth, and I've a Q for U! D'you recall what you ate just two nights ago? Was it stew? Or does the stew more so resemble the gray contents of your noggin that blocks from you, the thing most easily forgotten?

Do you walk around your grounds intending to do something swift, BUT by the time you get there you forget what, and what with? THEN I advise my nostrum for these troubles you are fraught with. You can reconvene with the thing most easily forgotten.

That's right! I don't just come with problems. (Nay, he also brings solutions / who are you?!) ... diluted from conclusions of the finest institutions.

I could kick your hippocampus 'til it rights your mental compass. Perhaps pass you pills that wash away brain fungus from brain substance. Or perform a three-way mind meld between you, me and an elephant. BUT I'LL HAVE NONE OF IT! It's all noxious and unneeded to recall the thing most easily forgotten!

Please forgive me if my train of thought splits onto separate tracks. With a brain so juiced on practice it's hard NOT to multitask.
JUST... ONE... SEC... AND... There, I've got it!
JUST find me but ONE clear empty SECtion of this bANDwith
adJUST your ironed WONder-buttoned SECond ... hAND collar
JUSTice for the ONE-lived frog diSECted, understAND?
reGISTer my words ONCE in a while SECtor D is blANDaroo

Now let's get back to the thing most easily forgotten!

You seem like an honest one so I'll cut you a deal: reverse in things hear you where problem that fix also we'll! I'll have that gold watch from your wrist, I think that price is modest, thank you! Now here's how to catch the thing most easily ...oh forget it.

Just tie this string around your finger, and a string around that string
to remind you of that first string that reminds you of that thing
you wrote down on a Post-It note before your recollection rotted
shrouded in secrecy
ever so frequently.
Now you can use my string
to fasten down the wings
of the thing, etc.

The Thing Most Easily Forgotten
Tex Beaumont & The Dirty Hearts

You had a Screaming Orgasm while I drank a beer
Then you finished off your cocktail and said let’s get out of here
But first we danced to Nickelback, ‘cos they’re your favourite band
And I saw a tiny butterfly tattooed on your right hand
I remember every little single detail like its etched into my brain
But the only thing I can’t remember is
What’s your name?

Your favourite dog is Labrador
Your favourite colour blue
Your favourite drink in chardonnay
Food is vindaloo
When intercoursing sexually you like the lights left on
And your favourite position is the Congress of the Swan
I know you made a little noise like an animal just before you came
But the only thing I can’t remember is
What’s your name?

Amanda or Linda
Miranda, Belinda
Raylene, Gaylene, Nolene, Jolene
Elle, Narelle, Shirelle or Sue?
Deanne or Diane or Leanne or Roxane
Can I get away with just saying “Hey You”?

Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na

Please don’t think I’m rotten
But your name is the thing most easily forgotten

The Thing Most Easily Forgotten
by Billy's Little Trip

-Verse-
You
My one and only you
There's nothing that I would not do
To save you from me
I
I'm one of those guys
Your Mother always warned you of
Your Mother was right

-Chorus-
I'm lazy, dumb as an ox
I get my knowledge from a cereal box
I drink and sleep till noon
I listen to music while I watch cartoons
Sometimes I get real high and run around naked with a great big smile
Ditch work, surf till dark
Piss on a bush just to leave my mark

-verse-
So run
Run while you can
And don't look back my love
But think of me sometime
Why
Why can't you see
The shit they all see in me
Why don't you leave me girl

-Chorus-
Ain't nothing but a music junkie
A messed up schizo cheeky monkey
Booby staring nymphobater
With hair on my palms and my eyesights fading
I burp, I cuss, I spit
To tame a shrew would be more fit
Spend my money on stupid things
I talk too much and I cry when I sing
I never want to hurt you girl
Never want to
Never want to!

The Thing Most Easily Forgotten
by Puce

I wish that you had not forgot our break up
And then tried to bake a make up cake
I guess you don’t remember I'm allergic to flour
and you left the stove on and burned down my place

You forgot to water my Forget-Me-Nots
and yes I see the irony of it all
I'd hoped that you'd recall to tell me
when you locked my car keys safely in my car

When you neglect me it makes it quite hard to recall...
What was the reason I was even dating you at all?
It's all a blur now but I guess I don't regret it
Because it turns out you were the thing that was easiest to forget

It was a fuax pas to forget my name
when you introduced me to family and friends
Although you must admit that it wasn't half as bad
as when you called me Bobby during suc-

-cessfully suppressing all the memories of the things you did to me
All the drama and head trauma from your inability
to keep your temper and remember that we were once in love
so don't forget to take my memories when you're packing up your stuff

When you neglect me it makes it quite hard to recall
What was the reason I was even dating you at all?
I've got amnesia starting at the day we met
because it turns out you were the thing that was easiest to forget

The Thing Most Easily Forgotten
by Frankie Big Face

It's so easy to fall in love
The heavens above
Open all the time
Showering kisses
On anyone who shows
The least bit of interest

But oh, then you're left on your own
The seeds that you've sown
Require attention
That you've never known
And no-one's ever mentioned.

CHORUS:
Because the thing that's most easily forgotten
Is how to slow the course from ripe to rotten
Forgive our foes for all the wars we fought in
And I propose to put a lot of thought into
Loving you every day.
Loving you every day.
Loving you more and more every day.

It's so easy to crumble to dust
The earth's thin crust
Opens all the time
Swallowing couples
Who fail to recognize
The first signs of trouble

But oh, there are a million ways to get back
But it's a maze, not a track
So brother, don't linger
And as a matter of fact
Tie a string around your finger

CHORUS

Last Hope
by Puce (Reference Material: Joseph Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces)

This is the tale that’s been told a thousand times before
The details change but it’s boiler plate down at its core
Good vs. Bad; an evil conquering the world;
And one boy who can, save the day and get the girl

If it sounds familiar, well, that’s probably because it is
Just change the names and places and you’ll surely have yourself a hit

Our hero leaves his home to begin his epic quest
He doesn’t go alone, but with a mentor and his newfound friends
He faces many trials, but with heavy losses they barely win
The odds are stacked against them and it looks as though their hopes are dim

If it sounds familiar, well, that’s probably because it is
Just change the names and places and you’ll surely have yourself a hit

GRARRRGHHWWAARGHRrgghhreooooo-oooo-eee-ooo-ooo (x2)

[The Chorus]
(fucking finally)

Oh they say that your our Last Hope
Just the way that it’s been fortold
So hurry up come on lets go
Because this story starting to get old
Oh they say that your our Last Hope
Far away a long time ago
I’m afraid that you already know
How this story’s going to unfold

Blole!

Soon will come the time when something deep within his mind
Unlocks the courage he was told that he would find
We’re coming to the end, and there's a battle to the death
etcetera…(I’m sure you know the rest) *

* I should end all my lyrics like this

Heart of a Lion
by Frankie Big Face

You know love's a cruel game of charades
Never say what you're thinking, hope the other can translate
She wants a push when I'm thinking of pullin'
I'm getting serious and she thinks that I'm foolin'

I wanna love you baby, just tell me what you want
I'm tired of solving puzzles like an idiot savant
I'm begging you to help me, I'm down on my knees
Oh baby baby please....

CHORUS:
(She said) You used to have the heart of a lion
Now you're not even tryin'
To win my love and affection
I used to cast the spells of a wizard
Now the best I can give her
Is sleight of hand and bad misdirection

You know that love's an academic pursuit
Put your heart under the microscope, reveal the truth
Earning your degree is especially pursuant
On convincing her you're absolutely fluent

I wanna get you back baby, make my return
But when I think about you honey, I forget everything I learned
I'm begging you to help me, I'm down on my knees
Oh baby baby please....

CHORUS

Heart of a Lion
by Puce
* this song is like a choose-your-own adventure: it can be about cats OR girlfriends. Take your pick!

My girl has a bit of a wild side
she sleeps all day and stays out all night
she’s always ready to start a cat fight
she may never bark but she has quite a bite

But when there’s trouble she always seems to come out fine and land on her feet
I’ve almost started to think that she might have nine lives because she’s so lucky
Oh she's cool, and she acts so sophisticated
but she can be so cruel, I wouldn’t say she’s quite domesticated

She's as sleek as a jaguar, has the eye of the tiger
and the heart of a lion is beating inside her
And when I describe her it seems so unlikely
That such a wild creature would live alongside me

When she kneeds me she’s been known to leave
her claw marks up and down my back
So I’ve learned to treat her how she pleases,
rub her the wrong way and you’ll get a scratch

She’s got this look that I’ve come to know means she’s hungry and could jump anyone
I’d complain but it’s so hard to speak properly when the cats got your tongue
Oh she's cool, and she acts so sophisticated
but she can be so cruel, I wouldn’t say she’s quite domesticated

She's as sleek as a jaguar, has the eye of the tiger
and the heart of a lion is beating inside her
And when I describe her it seems so unlikely
That such a wild creature would live alongside me
