Sup everyone!
I'm a new guy on the block, and hope to be submitting fight material soon!
I've been around music most of my life, and played trombone throughout my schooling. I'm an aspiring piano player, and currently taking lessons from a local jazz musician. I also play around on the guitar, but I don't really know what I'm doing - I don't know chords or scales on guitar. That's pretty much the extent of my analog instrument experience.
Took up DJing in 1999, playing mostly "rave" music - techno, drum and bass, house music, and downtempo chilled out stuff. If anyones interested in that kind of stuff, let me know. I'll share mixes. Still doing this today(though only occasionally seek out gigs).
Also been making music on my computer since about 1999, but tapered off for a number of years. Getting back into it since I've started learning piano.
Tools I use currently:
-Alesis M1 monitors
-Pentium 4 based PC
-M-Audio Delta Audiophile sound card
-Ableton Live (just getting into this. still learning, don't really know anything yet)
-Sony Acid Pro
-Reason 2.0 (i know this prog the best, but not a fan of its limitations)
-M-Audio Oxygen 8 (will soon be replaced by an 88 key controller)
-Recycle
-Audacity
See you in the ring!
