ATL Hotels: Where are you staying?

Hey All,

I'm just about to buy my flight and wanted to see where people are staying in Atlanta. I'd like to avoid renting a car and so if I could stay where other folks will be, there is a better chance for carpooling.

Also, anyone need/want a roomate?

I knew that deal wasn't going to last. Maybe I'll spring for car rental since I'm getting such a good deal on the hotel.

I'll have a car, but I'll also have a roommate. If we're staying nearby I can prob pick you up for some stuff, but know that I will not be there Thurs.

so... is anybody else staying in a hotel? where exactly is the venue on saturday anyway? isp records does not have much information.

I'm thinking about staying at the Econolodge in Decatur. It is cheap, seems close enough, and has okay reviews. JB, have you ever seen this place?

the last econolodge i stayed in was so horrid that we vowed not to ever again.

Decatur is nice. I think my parents stayed at that Econolodge once. Should be OK.

The saturday venue is within walking distance of my house, and is a couple doors down from The Earl, which is 488 Flat Shoals Ave Se, Atlanta, GA 30316

hey i'm looking at the red roof inn in stockbridge.. supposedly it's a mile or so from the saturday venue.

this isn't a notorious crime scene or anything, is it?
