In passing Glenn mentioned he may be retiring the title of Dr. Funk. May I suggest "Squatty G" as a replacement.

Hell, make it monthly. Then I'd get more than two or three live performances a year and I won't feel so insecure and queasy.

the good thing about having them twice a year, is that if you had a problem with the date, you wouldn't have to wait an entire year for it to come around again.

or you could also have twice as much fun. it's your choice. :)

The problem with having it twice a year is that, inevitably, we would end up havign an east coast show and a west coast show (or something there abouts), and people would be less inclined to travel from their part of the country to participate. That's why I dig the local SFL shows so much, with the major yearly event culminating it all.

No - you would obviously have a Northern Hemisphere show and a Southern Hemisphere show - that way they could be 6 months apart, but still always be in summer!

It never occurred to me that some people might not get the R. Crumb reference. Better late than never. :)

yeah, I thought it was a given. Dre, you might stand on your toes every once and a while, there seems to be a bunch of stuff in motion just inches above your head there.
