I dunno, Spud, I think yours would work really well if the band name were different.

I'm pretty sure I've got that album. I think my parents used to play it at parties back in the mid-70s.

You know, I was thinking. I couldn't be that unlucky twice in a row...

I was right.

edit - Yeah, yeah, I cropped the picture for dramatic effect. Well, that and the fact that ALBUMS COVERS ARE SQUARE.

OK, my FAWM needed some inspiration before things take off. Now I'm sort of ready.

I thought of this after the fact. So being the positive thinker that I am, mine is a bonus cover. NOW with 20% more album cover goodness.

Not entirely true, Spud. Sagmeister designed a CD cover that was half the width of a regular CD cover, so, 120mm high x 60mm across. Can't recall the band off the top of my head, though.

Didn't Talking Heads also release a CD that had a cover that was especially made? Something like 140mm high x 300mm wide?

Couldn't you get casette cases that were essentially two cases moulded side by side, essentially giving you a square canvas, rather than a rectangle one?

you know, just saying.

I kept getting great song and band names ruined by wussy landscape pictures or pictures of kids.

So I tried it with some of my own photos, and got:

J$, that one's awesome. I'd be a member of Smartcar with an album like that.

Here's another one:
