Or this perhaps?

Screw this. I'm just gonna pick four of the saddest songs I know.

"End of the World" - Blackfield

"Vacant" - Dream Theater

"It's a Miracle" - Roger Waters

"Brothers in Arms" - Dire Straits

Sorry - I will sit out this year. After stiffing last year, I know I would probably do the same again…so, have fun anyway

Wow. I just got mine. I've never done a cover, and I've never, ever in my life, done mainstream. This should be exceedingly interesting.

Wow, now that's a very good song that I have never heard before, but actually includes an artist I like very much.

Oh..I probably should clarify. Last year I stiffed because I was going through some difficult life circumstances. This year, my stiffing would be far more in keeping with a much more pleasant interpretation of that particular verb. So it is all good. And no DC friends, it has nothing to do with the NASA Space Program.

I find that to be the best part of GOM. I usually pick the song that is the least like my own music, tear it down to its root structure, and rebuild it in my own image.

Don't worry guys, it's just chords and singing. What could possibly go wrong?

Those are some cool songs, Zack. Considering you're past the deadline, I think I'll just cover one of them for you. Should be fun. (I won't tell you which one though, in order to keep it at least partially secret ;))

Cool, thanks, Noma! I'd love to hear any one of them, so that's awesome. I guess I'll semi participate by picking out a track out of all these wonderful choices!
