That's all I've ever been.

Instrumentals recorded, crappy vocals and slop-to-song phases still to come. Intend on being in before tomorrow morning.

And I need to see the technical spec for the pant/jizz interface. (PJI 1.0?)

EDIT: Crap, tonight's plans fell through. Will be a wee bit late, try again tomorrow. Fell free to start without me, I'll be right behind ya.

I sent mine in yesterday, but just realized that I left it titled per my project folder with the mix number and not tagged. Hopefully Niv can swap it out if I send a properly titled and tagged version in. Image

Ok, submitted. I ended up having to use my own vocals for the chorus; when you hear it if anyone wants to do better vocals for the choruses, feel free. I can send you a version with mine removed :)

There is a material bias, but assuming denim as a default ya got the following:
Saturation-to-deflection ratio: 1.125:1
1 output dual processor
Frequency response of 0.5-10hz
45 year guarantee
No warranty

Also, i think we're on version 15 about now.

Sadly, drunkenness is rarely the excuse.

It's going to take a little time to set up a website (maybe midweek) so feel free to start sharing.

Ah, a slight reprieve! I'm anxious to get this done, although finding a good time to record bad singing has proven problematic. But I should be in by then.

And if you are my gifter I ask that you NOT share it just yet. I'd rather wait for the site to go live.

I agree. There is a tradition here. What next, we start having July 4th on Christmas day?

.....I'm really bad at analogies. But you get the point. Stop killing the WORLD! :geek:

Studies have found no conclusive evidence showing that the party has started. Investigation is ongoing.

Hey folks,
I'm in need of a double serious assist. My website FTP is acting up something fierce (Where the F are my files!!!), so can someone host? Drop me a PM.

And my song went from "This is gonna be a great idea" to "What the fuck was I thinking?!?! That was a terrible idea." And seeing as I'm still in no guitar land, I need some assistance there too.

I don't have a web site with any sort if hosting anymore however can we just do a Band camp sort of page thing?

If you still need guitar, I am available! Just send chords, ideas, harsh direction, or anything like that!

John

"Logical Song" is tremendous! Is that a real, honest-to-God sax solo? Bliss!

And we finally see a cover from Prolonging the Magic. That's always been my fave Cake album and even though this is something like the 4th or 5th Cake song done for the GoM it's usually been from Motorcade or Nugget. Wep-wee-zent!

As far as my entry goes, the idea was to see what a 1989 Ramones song would sound like if it were recorded in 1978.

Couple of things: 1) Where is HInc's entry? 2) Schlimminy Cricket's entry would appear to be for jlampson, not Caravan Ray as indicated.

I knew Frankie Big Face had a fantastic voice for the Logical song. In the process he offered to play sax. I jumped at the opportunity. So that is indeed real sax played by Mr. Big Face.
Thanks!

My gift is indeed for Mr. Lampson.
And that chorus on Guitar? So nice. I love Ms. Ranger Den's backing vocals and the wibbly thing that might be a synth.
