I'd rather do something not at all than do something horrifically lame.

ANyway I don't do metal.

I may be out of this one. I'm looking at how my time is laid out over the next day and a half and it's not looking promising. I'm gonna try though and try hard. But if i fail, I will get Septemberian out by Monday night (since Saturday, Sunday & Monday all have free time).

Drums are done. Now it's all about lyrics/vocals and touch-up/mixdown.

Liking the music on this a lot. I hope the vocals and lyrics don't ruin these songs.

ROCK!

I have posted a third song and now I am exploding with musics from every part of my body! But I am only one third of the way to the goal! I am not sure if I will be able to make it by Friday night. u_u;

I'm now done 12 songs. AND I'M STILL NOT DONE!!! AHHHHHH! Well, I've got one more day. Jeff was over today and we made Okolooko. It's awesome. I also made another metal one where I get to have a bit more fun with the drums, as well as a sweet rap! I'm pretty pumped to finish this though!

6 down. 6 to go.

I hope I am able to beat the deadline, but it's likely to be close.

Here's a rough mix of <a href="http://glenncase.com/music/glenncase/aa ... >"Stronger Than"</a>. It sounds like nothing else on the album, and it's probably my favorite track of the moment, even with a shoddy mix. I predict that it will be the Blue Lang fave. In fact, Blue, don't even listen to the rest of the album... it's all downhill from this one :P

ROCK!

Well, I'm going to make it official and say that I am dropping out of the AAW competition. I'm here at work and being stressed out by all sorts of bad job politics and can't get around to making songs. At the same time, I am really enjoying the Septemberian album and seeing as this is the first album I'm putting out in over a year, I wanna put out a really good product. I still want to get the album done soon and I'm 90% sure, I'll have it done by Monday unless some muse comes over me and I find a way to make it bigger and better. I've got the support of the Girls on this, which means a lot to me. They aren't usually big on my music (except for the help I got from Aurora during the Eagles fight). Septemberian has become really important to me, so I'm out of the AAW challenge. But next week, Septemberian will be out and hope it'll be a great album. Good luck to everyone else still doing the challenge.

Sorry to see that you are out, but I look forward to your final product when it is done.

I am actually cancelling band practice so I can attempt to finish mine tonight. I will put out everything I got done, but I am reserving the right to get the songs mixed properly at a later date.

ROCK!

I could probably stand to learn a lesson from this myself.

But, even if some of what I am putting up is slightly sub-par, I am determinied to meet this deadline! I just need to prove to myself that I can do it... (again)

With 4 hours to go, and 4 sets of lyrics to write? I am pretty sure I am going to fail anyway.

:D

EDIT: I have decided to fail. I am going to go the same route as Niveous, and take a little extra time to get this one done. I really don't want to rush out some crappy songs just to finish this on time. I WILL post some rough mixes of some of the better ones that I DID do tonight before 9 pm.

Best of luck to the rest of you.

ROCK!

Unfortunately the recording set backs have put an end to my AAW WTF. It was quite a mission, and I'm very impressed by all you that seem to be on the way to completing. The good news is that I got at least three really great songs out of this, and hopefully they're gonna go on my CD coming out later in the summer. Now I get to start finishing up that. And at least my recording set up is now sorted out. So I guess, all is well that ends well.

Those of you that do finish, if you want your candy prize, just PM/e-mail me your address :P

Really irritated that I was unable to finish this.

There is still one more hour! I do not think I can get another song done in that time and even though I did not finish by the official deadline I think I will still give myself a few more days to make the album since I did not start until Monday anyway. But I am happy with the songs I did for the most part even if they felt very cheap to do.
