The Song Fight Bulletin Board

Companion thread for "Who would you want to see come back", name some professionals you would love to see enter a fight. I guess anybody is fine but maybe best are people who seem like they could actually pull it off. I've always thought Song Fight would be fun for Rivers Cuomo. That guy churns out songs and might like having a random title to start with.

Okay... Robert Pollard or Edward Ka-Spel... both of which could probably write a song every week no problem.

Bishop Allen. Their EP-a-month-for-a-year project was reminiscent of Song Fight.

Omg, yes, it would be amazing if Robert Pollard was on SongFight, and writing songs based on arbitrary titles is totally his thing. My other choice would be Paul Westerburg, who has been recently releasing tracks on Soundcloud as 'user-964848511'.

Whoa, that's awesome he's posting songs there like that. This song even has "A Promise Is A Promise" in the lyrics, maybe he's scouring the songfight archive for lyrics inspiration.

Oh man. That would be amazing! He definitely seems like somebody who could crank out songs, particularly if the bar was lowered below what he holds his album tracks to.
