NUR EIN XIII: The End

IVEG – THE END from "Vampirates of Vancouver"

I got a job installing grass
Pounding stakes into the ground it’s practice
I rent a room on Point Grey Road near the Yacht Club

White masts like birch trees in the wind
Rust and black container ships in the bay
Young mothers pushing babies in the playground
Don’t know the danger they’re in every day

May be the end
May be the beginning
Risking everything is my only chance of winning
After tonight you might not hear from me again
May be the beginning
Or this may be the end

I’m eating garlic – I love Korean food
At sunset, I lock myself in my room,
And I don’t come out for anything, anything

I know Vampirates watching me.
I hear Maybella’s wings in the night
Each morning fresh claw marks on my windowsill
Black nail polish in the sunlight

CH

Tonight I’m leaving my window ajar
Tonight I’ll have stake and hammer in my hands
Tonight I’ll kill the only girl I ever loved
Or she’ll kill me

CH

The End - Vom Vorton

I’ve heard it said it’s all about the journey
not to focus too much on the destination
but it’s tricky not to think about the ending
when you’re facing nuclear obliteration
so as we huddle in our shelters
and we whisper words of solace
let our voices rise together
and please join me in a chorus:

was this even a war we were capable of winning?
is this the start of the end or the end of the beginning?
sooner or later we’ll realise we can not pretend:
it’s just the end.

it’s hard to think of anything but the present
but what if, after all this pain and strife
when our molecules are all blasted together
it turns out that there really is an afterlife?
and reborn in our next lives
we all hail ouroboros
let our voices rise together
and please join me in a chorus

was this even a war we were capable of winning?
is this the start of the end or the end of the beginning?
sooner or later we’ll realise we can not pretend:
it’s just the end.

unchained from our corpses
you’ll find you can’t ignore us
so let our voices rise together
and please join me in a chorus

was this even a war we were capable of winning?
is this the start of the end or the end of the beginning?
when I look in the mirror I see a human skull grinning…

was this even a war we were capable of winning?
is this the start of the end or the end of the beginning?
sooner or later we’ll realise we can not pretend:
it’s just the end.

Mandibles/Cavedwellers joint shadow entry:

This is the end of all the music in our lives
This is the end of all the truth and all the lies
This is the end, and who’s to criticize
All the girls and all the guys who never even made
it this far?

This is the end of all the games that we played
This is the end of working hard every day
This is the end, and even though we’d like to stay,
None of us is ever coming back.

This is the end of all the stars in the sky
This is the end of all the clouds rolling by
This is the end of every dream of soaring high
It’s the end of us all and the end of who we are.

It’s the end of the world and the end of school
It’s the end of our lives and everyone we knew
It’s the end of the line, and the end of the movie too
This is the end of love and the war
This is the end of everything we’re fighting for
It’s the end of everything and the end of so much more

This is the end of every friendship that we had
This is the end of every person that drives me mad
This is the end of every good and every bad
Force in the world, and every force in the universe,

This is the end of all the stories that we told
This is the end of all the meek and all the bold
This is the end; everyone of us is growing old
And as the music fades, we hear it’s echoing refrain:

This is the end

The End
by Merisan

Will there be angels
Up in the clouds?
Will I see my loved ones
And will they be proud?

Should I build pyramids
Filled with supplies?
Can I lead an afterlife
Full of surprise?

I’m not trying to solve a mystery
There’s nothing concrete, only theory
There’s something I’d like to know
Where do we go in the end?
Where do we go in the end?

Will I reincarnate and have
The perfect childhood?
Would that change my future
Like I hope it would?

Will I go nowhere?
Just lay in the ground
And listen to nothing
No heartbeat, no sound

I’m not trying to solve a mystery
There’s nothing concrete, only theory
There’s something I’d like to know
Where do we go in the end?
Where do we go in the end?

And If there is a hell
Then I don’t believe it
The devil’s just misunderstood
Like all of us misfits

When I get lonely
and feeling low
And my sense of wonder
Has flown with the crow

I look to the night sky
Filled up by the moon
She whispers her story
And sings me her tune

I’m not trying to solve a mystery
There’s nothing concrete, only theory
There’s something I’d like to know
Where do we go in the end?

It's uncanny how your lovely fanny can
fit into my plannny
may I help you get your clothes undone
A little winey will do just finey
as I worship your hiney
there's nothing that is this much fun

The End is your bum
it takes you to and from
it always gets me there
there's a duty with your booty
you must include me
I love your derriere

Let's call a truce because
the power of your caboose is such
that I'm playing fast and loose
with money i don't really have
Don't cause a schism
with another euphemism
your clothes are just a prison
take 'em off and take a bath

The End is your bum
it takes you to and from
it always gets me there
there's a duty with your booty
you must include me
I love your derriere
