Got a song down but haven't had a chance to record vocals yet, hopefully I'll get them done tonight though. Post-deadline I know but I've been told it's generally a little flexible.

Absolutely unacceptable. You'll be drawn and quartered (at the very least) if you're not more respectful around here.

The deadline is neigh and I haven't yet received a single song. :/ Is everybody too busy with Nur Ein or something?

Whoa, not one? I was hoping to transform another one of the Vowl Sounds cast-off ideas for Color Me into a song for this, but I should probably focus on the next round instead...

I was also hoping to write something for this but also was fully preoccupied with Nur Ein (and other things in my outside life!) If I come up with something tonight, I will send it in, but it's probably going to be an acoustic thing if so.

OK, something must have been gummed up with the fightmaster email. I just got a bunch of messages showing up starting with yours from last night at 8:19pm my time. Weird! I've now replied to all the folks whose songs I've seen so far. If you didn't get a reply from me try submitting again when you have a chance.

So that's me out I reckon. Maybe I'll be able to come back to this tomorrow when I'm less angry but I've just spent 2 hours recording and mixing vocals, which were all inexplicably wiped as I pressed save on the finished project, and at the moment I kinda never want to hear this song again. Nevermind ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also just to preempt the inevitable judgement, yes I still use Audacity - in my defence despite it's many flaws I usually find it pretty reliable. It's been years since it's crashed on me like this...

Oh man, that sounds so super duper frustrating. Sorry to hear that! We've all been there, it is no fun. Feel free to submit late if you change your mind.

That sucks. I know it's of no use to you now... but I tend to make sure I'm saving my project at least once every 15 minutes (Ctrl+S) and also make sure to "Save As" my project after significant changes... so I always have something to go back to if one Project file seems to be borked. I probably save Revision Project files more often than actually needed (which sometimes makes going back into my archives kind of tedious...), but I feel like it's better to save too many than not enough. Hope you're able to recover and submit.

I added another cover art entry. For those who are interested (maybe someone?) it references Osip Mandelstam. His wife wrote a book "Hope against Hope" about him and his death. (Actually two books, but....) The easily found and read wiki page is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osip_Mandelstam

I thought I wouldn't have a chance at this one but I was with some musical friends and saw this title was still up so we collaborated on an entry, recorded it last night, and submitted as Not Blue Dolphins.
