Oh, didn't realise uploading was a must have. I ended up uploading to youtube and providing a link to the YouTube video. Thought that would be OK. Now it looks like I was wrong

Also: gonna do a dry run / warm up stream tonight on the Song Fight channel. I'll play some of last year's videos and chat with folks to get comfortable with the setup. Stay tuned.

I’ve submitted ours! Sadly we’ll be playing a show at the exact time of SFL Night 2 but I will be very excited to check out the replay afterwards

I'm an hour into last night's stream, and I've also just updated my form with my finished Hot Pink Halo video. Woohoo!

I'm getting through the video stream. I'm absolutely loving what I am seeing, everyone is awesome. Gutting I can't show up as and when it streams, in the UK it is 2am and I am well into the land of nod at that point. It's great to see every performing and putting a faces to the sounds.

I've just updated the google form with a google drive link! Sweeney Toad and the Synthlads are in with a mini live set! Also, I got to catch the tail end of ADD, Sly Eli, Phlebia, and then the tail end of Sober while I was working last night. Looking forward to catching up on everything else! It was really cool to see Sly Eli covering my rap verses in the Instabandits song, I was not expecting that! And thank you to Phlebia for letting me be a part of your set!

Any time, Sweeney! I kind of forgot that that was your part in the Instabandits song but Sly Eli doesn't usually rap so I probably should have guessed lol. Anyway, I loved that, thanks for putting it all together Jeff!

Hi I'm trying to submit our video for next Saturday but I didn't get a confirmation, is this normal? Or is it confused because I'm trying to edit our form logged in as me when Nivs filled it out with his gmail addy? (he didn't get any kind of confirmation email, either)

At first I got hit by the file too large issue, then I tried to attach it from my Google drive, then finally I also pasted the link to my Dropbox. (File is 1.3 GB.)

Uploading the "The Landfills" set (heh heh-- "set"--- two songs) to the Google Form now. It is still technically Sunday.

Had a great time on the stream last night and really looking forward to next week. Really enjoyed the sets and the banter. (I'm not sure anybody actually knew who I was, what w/ my mundane name showing up in the chat and also not being a Song Fight! regular in-- uhhh-- 15 years. Damn, I'm old.)

The daughter thinks we can do an entry for the live fight. We'll see if her 8 y/o optimism is warranted.

update: Nivs is trying now. so far no success. are we supposed to get some kind of confirmation?

I just finished uploading mine. It showed a file attached to my Google Forms response after the upload completed, at which point I just saved the form. This is consistent with other Google Forms that I've used.

If that's what Nivs saw then you should be good.

Edit: Later I noticed that Google emailed me the completed form again. This time it shows my file attached.

I got a confirmation email from "Google Forms" subject "Song Fight Live 2021: Apart and Together" when I filled out the form, too. Maybe check your spam folders?

I have access to the account tied to the Google form. There I see the info from Niveous the Drive spreadsheet, with a Dropbox link. I don't see any video files from LWRG in the Drive folder where the uploads go, though. So either the uploads didn't work or Glenn Case already snagged the videos or something. Not sure. The Dropbox link seems to work so that's probably good enough.
