Everybody acts like they're an alien race these days,
Big robots out of space with their deadly rainbow rays;
It's so commonplace it has almost become a cliche
To destroy two-thirds of the human race.

There's nothing we can do but all move subterranean,
Wait them out while mocking their lack of imagination.

Seen all this before, what you doing it for?
Did you have a poor education? Can't you be more creative?

Power on
Sunlight on the rain already fallen
Sensors scan terrain tracking a crawlin'

This don't feel like home but that's the mission for you,
Planets are all the same when its folks you're missing,
Cumulate the data pass it on,
Plot a course, set Launch, and come back home.

Rainbows and Robots

Got a place on Noe and Ford
in the fabulous Castro district
colorful people and automatons
in the neighborhood, you can't resist it

The mechanoids just need to plugin
They don’t mind the smaller “living” space
Just like the clones they reboot alone
They’re so clean and devoid of nearly any waste

I climb atop the Sutro Tower
(You don’t know if you’ll get caught)
Imagining what the future is down there

A working class of Benders and R2s
Are residing only two doors down
They keep us safe and fix everything
Life is better since they came around

Enjoyed the view from Sutro Tower

I spy a market with some fruit so ripe!

Optimis and some leather boys
