Just when I didn't think i could read a post that could contain much more homosexual innuendo...

I would also like to say that I am gobsmacked at the quality of the entries. Every one is a little moulded piece of perfection. Especially J$.

Screech, screech
TAINTED LOOVE!!

I am also impressed I managed to use the word gobsmacked.

Hey, I'm gutted that I only checked this thread recently, it sounds cool. Given that there seems to be a fairly relaxed attitude to deadlines, maybe joining in now isn't out of the question.

so....I noticed Bjam was after a version of Frug, shall I just go for it?

Sounds like a good idea to me. And hey, if you post four songs you'd like to hear covered, I'll try my best to do one of 'em. Howz that?

I'm also looking through the remnants of peoples' lists for extra stuff to cover. You know, in all that free time I have...

I found out tonight, two months after the fact, that John Balance of Coil died before xmas. Weirdly pretty much on the day I was recording my version of Tainted Love, which was utterly inspired by theirs. I would like to dedicate my version in retrospect to him.

It is official. The big track of GoM in the Sausage Boy office is The Hip Cola's 'Walk Like An Egyptian'. Sorry J$, you came in second.

OK. Why are we at a standstill? No one is getting left behind. We need songs. Please.

Working on it. I have a couple shows tomorrow, and I think I'm going to roll out a live version of my chosen song.

Yeah, I could squeeeze out a song too, if there was an easily findable list of 1) who needs a song still, 2) who was supposed to give a song to that person, and 3) what songs that person wanted to hear.

Could you update the first post in the thread or something? That might be helpful.

While I STILL have faith the other fighters will get their songs in, I would be delighted if someone wants to try out a song from our list:
