Anyone read Stephen King's latest? I listened to the audio book, and my opinion is a pretty low one. I'm sad to say that, since King's been a favorite of mine for a long time. But this book was not his best by a long shot.
And Scott Campbell's reading of it was very poorly produced (and I know poor production, believe you me). Many times during the reading I could hear sentences that had been punched in, that differed in timbre and clarity so drastically it was as if someone in the other room took over the narrative duties while Campbell got a drink.
