Click the thing that says music at the top. Or just go to: http://www.myspace.com/freetherobots

Listen to Jazzhole, that is is the sweetest most toetapping song in the world.

I am proud to say that I own one of the 400 CDs that they released.

I don't even care about this, but I love these quote a quote of a quote threads. I giggle.

That's stupid though.

Just because there's already a topic for it doesn't mean there's no room to make new seperate topics.

People do it all the time.

It's called a forum.

Yeah but you make throw-away threads for brief mentions of bands while other people tackle either large genres or artists/albums everyone's familiar with and can therefore discuss at great lengths rather than be like, "Oh, the stuff on their myspace sounds ok I guess." then kaput.

But that's compared to making a single post in a topic with 5 + pages

Isn't this board made for topics like this?

I think the big difference here is that, with all due respect, nobody's going to take the time to check out a link to some band they've never even heard the most minor of buzz about. I'm speaking from personal experience. If someone started a Tom Waits thread or a Minor Threat thread, especially because people are bound to not only know but also to have different opinions of them, that would be different. There would be a discussion rather than brief notes of, "Cool" "Lame" "Whatever" or this conversation we're having.

songfight prefers as few topics as possible. it's less to go through if you want to find something old. and it's also easier to read everything that's new.
