Keys, horns, strings, professional triangle players

I've had musical tunnel vision for far too long and it's time for a change. There's an old saying that says, "if you keep doing what you did, you'll keep getting what you got"
I play guitar, drums and bass and I'd like to mix in some keys, horns, violins, backup vox etc. PLUS, anyone that is good with mastering the final mix is also welcome to collaborate.
Charlie from Paco Del Stinko was kind enough to make a guest appearance on my dude and catastrophe entry with his rip'n old school lead guitar skills. If it was my choice, Charlie would be my online lead guitar play for ever, but that's not fair to him because it take away from his own personal project.
So I'd like to feature others in some future challenges for fun, and of course, Charlie, you are ALWAYS welcome.

It may not happen today or even next week, but anyone interested, let me know.

Cool sd, I really like horns and for many years I didn't allow myself to enjoy the things I like in music because of peer pressure. Now a little older, I feel weak that I ever allowed others opinions to stand between me and the things I love.
This my sound odd, but it wasn't until I first heard Cake, whom to this day I thank and listen to regularly, that I let my horn'ophobic guard down. I had to secretly enjoy 70's funk. But that was then and this is now and nothing stands in my way anymore.
I would love to write something like acid jazz, but more main stream punkish with dirty aggressive horns. I think if the song was laid out correctly, it can easily carry some horn leads to make a high energy song mind blowing.

You'll have to be patient with me because I record on a reel to reel 8 track and mix down to a tape before I take it to the computer. I've gotten a few pointers here to keep the sound the way I like without the tape hiss, so I'm learning as we speak.

How are you set up for recording? I'm new to the online collaboration. The one I did with Paco went pretty smooth. I mixed everything down on my end, then sent him an mp3 and he mixed in his leads and sent the finished mp3 back.

I record everything straight to the computer. The way you worked it with Paco, MP3 file, works fine.

If you want to get an idea of how I arrange and play horn parts you can go in the music archives and listen to some of my back catalog. Most of the songs have horns in them.

Wow! You have quite a resume here. This is going to take me some time to go through them all...and I will go through them all, lol.
My first question is, are the horns synthesized? Not that it matters to me at this point because they sounded great.
Second, are you ok with my style of music? Not that it matters to me, but do you want to be associated with my dirty style?

Well some may say my sound is offensive.

But I don't think I've ever written an obscene song. I just started on this weeks song title Glutton. If I'm feeling horns, I'll let you know, but I'm just scratching the surface right now. I should know by tomorrow Steve.
