So where is it? When is it? Who will be there? How will it go down? Why will it happen?
You tell me.
(This is my lame attempt at trying to find something to look forward to next summer so I don't go crazy with school. Just humour me )

I say we have it in Seattle again. Seattle is awesome. And convenient. Especially now that there's a whole bunch of SFers here.

Seattle would be great for me. I have many non-SF friends there, so I could visit them and have a place to stay and may get some of them to come out for one or two of the nights.

But isn't Spud having his shindig-thing in Seattle...? I'd rather not go to the same place twice in a year.

VT (Rock Barn) is in the works, but major family deals may influence the side of summer that's available to host.

so far we've been alternating coasts for the big concert.

South Coast.
Looks like we're due for Niagara Falls or maybe Chicago.

ugh, not Chicago. I have retarded insane family there and they'd expect me to, like, visit.
Niagra Falls would be cool though. Song Fight: Gravity and Barrels

My family's in Buffalo, but I don't think I could plan a Niagara Falls thang. I bet I could be there, though (long as it wasn't Memorial Day wknd).

I sure would love to attend Rock Barn Vermont. I could even drive guitars and amps up in my pick'em-up truck. Be glad to pick up Mr. Tyrrell on the way up also. Although Atlanta looks good as far as spreading them out geographically. A kind of touching all the (U.S.) corners thing.

Yeah, whatever happened to Rock Barn Vermont? That was an awesome idea.

Plus Atlanta is FUN. Baseball teams, zoos, botanical gardens, aquariums, clubs, dive bars, shopping, shows, art museums, you name it etc. etc. major-metropolitan-area type deal.
Of course, they don't call it HOTlanta for nothing. Summer does swelter down here. But we are a piddly 8-hour drive from Orlando, and less than that to NOLA.
Plus your friendly JBB is down here. What more incentive do you need?

Sweet! I just checked this thread, and I've already got a ride. Vermont gets my vote, obviously. Even if we can't do the annual SFL over there, I'd still make the trip for a regional get-together.
I've been to Atlanta before, and that city was lots of fun. But it's unlikely that I'd be going further than driving distance. Buffalo might work.

I've been to Atlanta in July/August before, and I'm pretty sure I never want to do that again. No offense, JB. It's just too hot and humid. Boston was bad enough...

pussy. that's what air conditioning is for. you won't catch any place in atlanta without it, unlike the weird northeast.
