I kicked the hell out of my Holocaust final. I wrote the best essay I think I've ever written about how we approach God and religion after something like the Holocaust and I used Harold and Maude as a model for how we approach life. I was on a rhetorical high for about half an hour afterward. Then I took my Spanish final. I bombed that. Looks like I'll be taking Spanish 201 again.

The toilet in my house is still broken and the plumbing company won't come until Monday now. So I'm pretty pissed about that. Also, my internet at my house isn't working for some reason. Comcast is a shitty excuse for a company.

I think I want to do something destructive tonight.

I'm at home, posting this from the Wii. Thinking about getting some Corona for Quatro de Mayo.

Today's song choice = <a href="http://glenncase.blogspot.com/2007/05/d ... tml">Minus the Bear - Pachuca Sunrise</a>

Rachael's friends are in town, and we are all staying over at a friend's house that has room for everyone.

At work now. Operating on 4 to 5 hours of sleep at the moment. I feel exceptionally lazy right now. Everyone likes the new haircut, or feels obligated to lie to me about it, but the reactions appear to be sincere.

Going to check out a local band or two this evening, and that includes meeting up with Justin. I rarely seem to meet up with Justin outside of band related activites, so that should be cool.

I've all but given up on trying to be productive today. It is not going to happen. That can't last all weekend, however. I have Captain S tasks that HAVE to get done by Tuesday at the latest.

ROCK!

I guess today was a pretty ok day. I spent way too much time on the SF board, mainly checking for the songs to be up, reviews, worrying about the Hell Yeahs song not working (it's fixed now), Nur Ein stuff, Roll Call etc. and just wasn't in the mood for work.

I had a couple of dumb meetings and a training to do. I ate lunch too late today and spent 1/2 my day hungry. It was my fault, I'm the one who had to reschedule the meeting during my normal lunch time. Chatted with Phil some and only got a little bit of work done.

It started to rain on my way home so traffic was bad. I got home and the kids were still sick. They were super cute though, but fussy and grumpy. Went through numerous tissues and dished out some cough medicine, then dinner, brush teeth, stories and bed.

I'm really tired so I think I'm gonna veg on the couch. Phil's at work tonight, so it's just me.

Tomorrow Phil and Spencer are going to the comic stores, so it's me and Allison. I imagine Phil will spend a big chunk of time on Nur Ein. I still need to dye my hair... and do reviews and clean up the house some. I must do laundry and I would really like to go shopping to buy some "summer casual" clothes for work.

Heh. That's actually early college, but who's counting. Nice to be sandwiched between "A Day in the Life" and "Isn't it a Pity"!
