I just remembered that time in forever ago before I got smart and started working when I did some unemployment training course on making music and the guy running it had a mate who worked for the CSIRO so he took us there and we stood in the reverb chamber and it was absolutely incredible and then we got to take turns standing alone in the dark in the completely noiseless chamber which honestly made me very very very very scared it was AMAZING.!

Darker than the edges of that time you awoke in the middle of a trip, and couldn’t feel or see anything that wasn’t the pulsing noise of traffic whirring in your ears. The true dark of nothing.

What’s Everclear?

It's an American brand name of 95% ABV ethanol (basically ultra-distilled vodka), which is used primarily to get very drunk very fast. In some states it's illegal to sell anything that potent for non-medical purposes so it's "only" 75% ABV instead.

My favorite use for it is extracting pure capsaicin from peppers, which is a different sort of idiocy.

Here's a video on using nanotech to convert it (or something equivalent, he's actually using denatured ethanol) to 100% ABV anhydrous ethanol:
