Crowded House's Locked Out gets stuck in my head whenever I think about the name of this movie.

It was okay, and therefore I'm disappointed. 40 Year Old Virgin was a perfect balance between raunchy humor and sweetness. Knocked Up tips too far onto the sweetness side. A lot of the jokes are funny; they're just not always very inspired. The whole thing is like a smarter version of one of those fat guy/hot wife CBS sitcoms, but with more yelling and childbirth scenes.

I still like it enough to give it a B. That's just a lot lower than I was expecting.

I loved it, it wasn't very jokey which I liked. I mean, there were hilarious parts, but it's stuff that would have been hilarious had it just happened in my living room or something. It reminded me more of Apatow's tv stuff, but with more swearing and vaginas. Plus Paul Rudd was great, as always. And Kristen Wiig is awesome, by the way, wish she were in more than two scenes.

The line about the guys crap looking like a stuffed animal had me laughing for days. Other than that there were a few too many sentimental parts. Too much "sweetness" I agree. 2 stars
