HELP write microlyrics!

Post by Plat »

EDIT: Thanks for your help! I've given up on the AAW (booo!) but I'm still gonna try putting this song together (yaaaay!). Might take me another week or three though (hmmm?).

<strike>I desperately need your help for an AAW song. The resulting song probably won't make sense, but we need to try. Please take 5 minutes to help me out. Pleasepleaseplease.</strike>

Simple instructions:

1) Pick a word from this list that hasn't been claimed later in this thread:

abate, afraid, agape, allayed, arcade, arcades, arrayed, await, awaits, belgrade, berate, betrayed, blockade, blockades, brigade, brigades, brocade, brocades, buffeted, cascade, cascades, charade, charades, cockade, collate, conflate, conflates, conveyed, create, creates, crocheted, crusade, crusades, debate, debates, decade, decades, decayed, deflate, degrade, degrades, delayed, dictate, dictates, dilate, dismayed, displayed, dissuade, equate, equates, escape, escaped, escapes, est, estate, estates, evade, evades, filleted, forbade, grenade, grenades, inflate, inflates, innate, invade, invades, irate, kincaid, kuwait, mandate, mccabe, mccague, mcdaid, mcquade, mcquaid, mislaid, mistakes, narrates, negate, negates, obeyed, ornate, outweighed, parade, parades, persuade, persuades, pervade, pervades, portrayed, predate, prepaid, pupate, relate, relates, remade, repaid, replayed, reshape, reshaped, restate, restates, sedate, stockade, surveyed, tirade, tirades, translate, translates, unmade, unpaid, update, updates, upgrade, upgrades, <strike>vacate</strike>, ventilate

2) Pick a word from this list that hasn't been claimed later in this thread:

belief, beliefs, believe, believed, believes, beneath, bequeath, beseech, besiege, besieged, between, bibi, christine, crimean, critique, critiques, cuisine, cuisines, debrief, debriefed, decease, deceased, deceit, deceive, deceived, decrease, decreased, decree, decreed, decrees, defeat, defeats, defries, degree, degrees, delete, demean, denice, denise, deplete, discreet, discrete, disease, diseased, displease, displeased, effete, elise, elite, elites, esteemed, exceed, exceeds, excrete, extreme, extremes, fifteen, fifteenth, impeach, impeached, impedance, impede, impedes, increase, increased, indeed, inhere, intrigue, intrigued, intrigues, khedive, killeen, kirghiz, midi, misdeeds, mislead, misleads, misread, mistreat, mystique, philippe, phillipe, physique, precede, precedes, preheat, premiere, recede, recedes, receipt, receipts, receive, received, receives, redeem, redeemed, release, released, reliefs, relieve, relieved, relieves, renege, repeal, repealed, repeals, repeat, repeats, replete, reprieve, reprise, resealed, retreat, retreats, retrieve, retrieved, retrieves, reveal, revealed, reveals, revere, revers, secede, secrete, <strike>severe</strike>, sincere, sinead, sistine, sixteen, sixteenth, thierry

3) Reply to this thread with the two words you've chosen (so other people don't use them)

4) Write a 6-syllable line that ends with the word from #1 (i.e., 4 syllables plus the word from #1), and a 6-syllable line that ends with the word from #2, and private-message those two lines to me.

The lyrical theme, if you want one, is 'fewd', aka leet food.

That's it! Later in the week I'll try to juxtapose your lyrics with a few other blind submissions, and we'll see what happens.

Thanks!

Imagine that. Plat is writing a song about food. Who woulda' thunk.

The scary thing is, I didn't come up with that theme; that was farmed out too.
