Yeah, you know, this would have been cool a while ago, but I've honestly got plenty to do right now. Maybe too much, in fact. I'm already doing SF, 55-Minute Frenzies, and SUK on a regular basis. Right now, there's also the GOM and the Purple Reign. And that Beatles cover I've somewhat pushed to the back because I assume Purple Reign is more urgent/important. So I'm not opposed to this idea, but there's a lot going on. And I suppose it'd help if I could find accurate chord charts for Kid A. My ear is shit, so I'm not exactly excited about trying to definitely figure out the chords, nor am I terribly interested in covering songs without using the original chords and melody, at this point. All these assignments and very little inspiration. So here's the deal. If this goes ahead, I'll probably do it, anyway, but I think this will be better if we wait, at least until the GOM is over.

No worry, if ya'll wanna do the fight, I'll be happy to host it, do the poll voting thing, and whatnot. There is only one rule though:
Someone has to collab with me on at least one track. :)
i'll collab on creep if ya want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!one111!!!!!!!1 :)
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! PM whenever you got some muzak. R u thinking to do it "correctly" or to reinterpret? It doesn't matter, I'm down for either. :)

Oh, and I second the END of February due date. Between Prince and GOM, I'm actually swamped!

oh yeah,
except for the fact that a good number of songfighters will probably attempt one of the following in February:
1. FAWM.org: writing 14 songs in 28 days (next year 29 days)
2. rpmchallenge.com: writing and recording 10 songs or 35 minutes of music in February
moving this idea to the end of March may give some would-be participants a chance to recover from the self-imposed February madness

damn, that's some serious madness. You're right, end of March would be better and probably have a higher turnout. Well i mean this would be the first side fight i ever thought of so do i have people send me the songs? Or do they host them themselves?

Alot of stuff to work with now with Radiohead releasing a new 2 disc album.

i would be down to do a radiohead sidefight anytime. but march seems like a nice, open time period for it.

The beauty of a due date is that it encourages a lot more recording then "ah, just do it whenever", but ALSO it (on SF anyways) allows you to still record it before or after the fact and post it, so its a win-win situation. ;)

I'm probably the only one that's going to do an album. And it's going to be one of the shorter ones.

Why decide? Enter both!

And LOO.... let me know which songs, if any, you want me to sing on. I'll want to practice a long time so I can do a really good job. :)

There's a lot of stuff from a lot of albums I want to do. "Videotape" was something I wanted to hear someone else do. Go for it!

Geez. I'm having a whole lot of trouble deciding which piece to do for this. I'd kind of really like to do Optimistic, Blowout, or try to make something out of Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors. Can't decide which.

I'm considering to do Go to sleep, one of my all time favorite Radiohead songs.
I got no idea how or what to change in my version yet. It's kind of hard to do I guess because Radiohead songs already are so well done.

Oooh, if we ever do this I'm calling "I Will" and/or "Sulk".
