Right on Glenn! I wouldn't sweat not "winning" ... how many big time acts are out there that actually profited from winning a talent show? I personally can't think of any (doesn't mean, of course, that there isnt any
!) but still!! ENERGY!!!!! ROCK!!!! RULKE!!!!

Rulke? Ah screw it!

You Rulke man!! ...do we get to see any of the footage by any chance?

Firstly: Thanks :D

Secondly: The problem that comes with getting the footage online, is that I don't have the equipment to transfer my 8mm footage to digital.

However, I CAN transfer the audio, and was thinking I might do that, while taking down something else from the site to compensate for the space that Spud is still hosting so graciously.

ROCK!

UPDATE:

Here are some ways for you to enjoy the audio I have of the concert we just did.

Option 1: Download from this folder

http://glenncase.songhole.org/content/s ... ig%20Easy/

Option 2: Stream all here:

http://glenncase.songhole.org/content/s ... asy/be.m3u

Because Leaf asked for them, I have made two videos of the performance. Live performances of "Coffee Shop Girl" and "Please the Pig" are in this folder

http://glenncase.songhole.org/content/s ... asy/video/

It is not synched up perfectly, but it gets the point across. Hope y'all enjoy these. Quality is also questionable, because I used the digital camera to catch the video footage from my TV while it was playing.

EDIT: If the quality doesn't bug you too badly, I might consider taking requests for which video to create next, if anyone is interested.

ROCK!

A girl I know expressed a desire to sing some of the stuff she's written on some electronica music. This is the first Techno-Something I've made in months and months. Started on it a few hours ago.

A few weeks ago I felt like making something "Ghetto" just to prove to myself that I could.

Laugh at Southwest Statistic trying to be Linkin Park. It's funny as heck.

I covered the whole Paul Westerberg "Stereo" album recently, and it is finally done!

I rushed it, admittedly, to hopefully hand a copy of it to Paul tomorrow when I see him play at the Showbox in Seattle!

Results are in this folder:

Don't give me any ideas, Sober. I already have too many projects as it is :P

Elvis Costello is coming to Spokane.... The thought of doing the same thing with "My aim is true" or "This Year's Model"... hell, maybe even "When I was Cruel" is not entirely out of the question.

ROCK!

So looking at Glenn and Sober's posts, I wonder - does the size of your avatar relate inproportionately to the length of your post? And what does it say about the size of yr ego?

Oh, Glenn - this looks cool, but if you're gonna give a CD of it to Paul Westerberg, don't you think you should have put his name on the cover somewhere? I'd be pissed ... :)

It's on the CD itself. Not to mention that I have only made 10 copies of the CD so far, that will only be distributed to close friends. It will not be available for sale. It will only be available for free download.

I guess it all depends on the person too, and I guess I am taking that chance. If someone came to one of my concerts with an album of covers of my songs, I would be downright flattered.

Unless they planned to profit off of it... THEN I would be pissed.

ROCK!

SWS, no wonder you scored high on the geek test. You have 5 monitors??
Anyway, you circled Sober's avatar. Glenn's is the little one above it.

I can not believe you would so flippantly disregard such an important detail Bill.

I may have to re-think voting for you this week....

It's my favorite movie. I am a desktop/web/industrial software engineer at present. I was 16 when "Antitrust" came out, and it struck a chord with me on a personal level - what 16 year old software programmer doesn't want to catch Microsoft for something like that?
