Worst title ever.

I really like this title. A quick scan of archives yields many titles that suck more than this one.

Well, if you like it, you're going to find a lot of worse ones. I don't, so I can't find a ton. And it's the worst one I'll have attempted to write to so far. I've already got a bit of an idea, and I'm not sure how it's going to go. I guess it's good to start with such low expectations. Then I won't be upset when I don't get any votes in a couple weeks.

There are almost five hundred titles in the archive. If you really dislike this one so much that you think it is worse than all of them, then, you know, maybe you should consider not writing a song for it. Songfight! entry is not mandatory, and you can probably find a better way to spend your spare time for the next week.

I'll admit I was exaggerating a bit. I think I already did so. I just posted a quick reaction to the title. No big deal. In any case, I will not be abstaining this week. Online songwriting competitions have allowed me to produce my best material to date. A bad title can be good. It can force one to be creative. I'm already working on ways to make my fringe idea into a good song. And no, I can't find any better way to spend my spare time. My local economy's in a recession, so there's no work or anything I can find, and I don't have any friends. I have ten hours of spare time every day of the week. There's got to be some time for songfighting somewhere in there.

This yields some proggy possibilities ...

Time to start writing 58 non-related verses.

You know, I was just discussing this with a friend, and I'm looking into the same thing. I've already started listening to 2112 for inspiration.

Hey! What's the hurry with the new title? Jeez... I wasn't even done with the last song!

yeah, with the fights being the size they are, i didn't have the time to both listen to the last one and write a new one for this week. and what's with less than a week for the deadline again?

It's 9 days.

God damn it.. I got all worked up about the title, started to work on a basic idea for lyrics, recorded some instruments.. and then I realized that I was more or less covering Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll". Got to start over. I still want to be in, but after this setback it's hard to say. Least I got nine days.

The dates been the same as long as I've been looking at it. I'd say you probably just read Tuesday instead of Thursday.

The title is as good as any other, but I'll be out on this fight. I'll be in Laughlin Nevada wakeboarding by day and partying it up by night. Looking forward to plenty of drinking, gambling and hopefully, general debauchery.
But I shall return to fight again another day, because this is SONG FIGHT!

I love this title. Not quite best title ever (that would be Anomaly), but still, I love this title.

I don't see what everybody sees in this title. For me, this title is just like the last one, only maybe a bit less open-ended. I see a thousand thematic possibilities, but none of them really grab me. That is, one does, but it seems like it's going to be difficult to take that and make it into a decent song.

Why is it such a deal that some people like a title you don't? Isn't it like preferences for bottled water? I mean, what a drag if everybody saw everything the same way. Sit it out.

Poland Spring for me.

It's not such a deal. I'm not bitching. I'm just trying to gain some perspective. I'm not saying, "What's wrong with you people for liking this?" I'm saying, "Where are you coming from? Help me understand what you like about it so I can come to work out my own approach." I like all kinds of bottled water. I like some variety. Poland Spring is a good one. I don't blame you. I had some the other day. Yum. I'm pretty agreeable. I just run into some difficulty once in a while. I'm certainly not sitting out. Not my thing. I've put a good deal of work in, already.
