Shatner: Has Been
Depending on how you look at it, it's either a Shatner album produced by Ben Folds or a Ben Folds album starring Shatner. Either way, it's quite excellent. Some really good catchy songs on it.

Is that the record with "Common People" on it? That got a lot of airplay here 4 or 5 years ago.
Which reminds me - I did an awesome karaoke version of "Common People" the other night while completely pissed on a works night out. It was even better than my completely pissed version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart", but not quite as good as my completely pissed version of "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" sung with lewd abandon with some slag I had never met before.

I prefer the live version of that from Conan. pointWeaselSlayer wrote:Yeah this album has been a staple for me over the past couple years. It's beautiful, oddly enough. Also if you can track it down, Ben Folds' album Fear of Pop has an amazing track with Shatner. It's also a weird as fuck/awesome album.

Re: Shatner: Has Been
I searched everywhere for this CD when it first came out...went to about 9 different stores in three different cities before I finally found it...
"That's Me Trying" is my favorite.
