Niveous,
Here's my album for RPM09.
Image

each picture is a song, and a story. and all songs/stories are chronologically connected from left to right, top to bottom.
I'm tire of sappy music, I'll try my best to have upbeat music for this one.
feel free to write for any of the images that moves you, and if you can connected them together, your the man!
let me know if your interested in doing this, they're all be short stories/songs, with maybe 1-3 instrumentals.

links to the images, chronologically ...

I am impulsive, so I signed up.

I can collaborate, but I am not very reliable... or good... But, y'know, it all evens out because of my dashing good looks.
Gimmie one good reason not to do it.

I intend to do some drinking songs this year. A bit of fiddle would help out over here too, I'm sure.

I've got nothing to start with. Well, I shouldn't say that. I've got the desire to drink, and to write about it.

For the last couple years, though, I've done the drinking songs thing and then gone and played a stretch of shows leading up to St. Pat's. And when I do, I find that I'm too busy (and far from home) to drink, so I'm actually sober through the whole thing. I have to make up for it at Easter.

But anyway... last year at this time I had a few good song ideas, and this time I'm going in completely empty. I'm a little nervous about that. Anyone got a good drinking story?

Can't do either but am happy to collaborate in any way that uses the meagre skills I have.

No, that's the purpose of FAWM. RPM is a month of producing an album, not necessarily writing any music. I hope to record 12 songs I've had, some many, many years old. None have ever been recorded. That's the purpose of RPM.

Hrmm... I'd never given much thought to RPM or FAWM (I had always seen everyone talk about them...) but RPM might just be what I need to get out of the "funk" I've been in since last year... I really need 2009 to be a whole lot better then 2008... and February is the best time to kick it into gear... so... I'm going to check out the RPM webpage... thanks OP.

I'm thinking March is a better album month than February, at this point.

I got sick at pretty much the worst possible time for this, but I'm still going strong.
