Rock Band II Playlist Creation

Post by Spud »

Hey, I know that I don't usually post to this forum, since I am not a gamer, but I need some help.

I have to go to Las Vegas on Tue/Wed/Thu next week and run a Rock Band II competition. Eek! I have never played it. Here's my main question -the organizers have chosen ten songs that they want to use for the competition. Is there a way to put these in a playlist on Rock Band, so that I don't have to search for these 10 songs in real time? If we have three more for the finals, can I put these in a separate playlist?

Detailed instructions, if this is even possible, would be best.

Thanks in advance,

SPUD

I don't know if that's possible. Worst case scenario, though, you can sort the songs in a variety of ways, including alphabetical by song and alphabetical by band, and in those modes you can scroll through the letters of the alphabet to jump to the first song or band starting with that letter. Just look at all the onscreen info about which button changes the sort order. Then the A-Z thing involves holding a button down for a second or two to get that option to appear. You may already know that but since you said you hadn't played it I thought I would just include that detail.

Thanks, Sam. Anything is helpful. Signboy tells me that there may be a "practice mode" or some such, where you can set up a list of songs to be played? Can anyone confirm? Is scoring possible in this mode, if it exists?

I don't think scoring is possible for people who enter a Rock Band II competition.
