Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

Funny - I always thought California would have had paved roads.

How many creeks do you need to cross to get to your local shops?

Our state is in the middle of a gigantic financial crisis! We can't afford luxuries like "roads" or "electricity" or "government services."

I installed double glazing in one of my houses in Brisbane where it's REALLY HOT a lot. It helps a lot.

It helps if you have an air conditioner, yeah, but I don't. They're just not necessary in San Francisco, where the idea of REALLY HOT is, like, 90 degrees for a week.

We're selling our car. Probably get another this spring. Not sure what it will be, but a Subaru is in the running. It'll be Zip Cars for a while.

And that car would be perfect for me! A shame it's 3000 miles away and I'd have to deal with all sorts of DMV bullshit.

That would be a good car for you fluffy. You can just about fit anything Ikea sells in the back. :P

I like that new Ford Hybrid Escape, but probably a little bigger than you're looking for. But they are very small as far as a compact SUV in concerned. But very roomy inside. Starting price isn't bad either at around 29K new. My buddy bought his wife a used one for 18k. > http://www.fordvehicles.com/suvs/escapehybrid/

I drive a black 2007 Toyota Yaris sedan, public transportation is not feasible in my area. $25 in gas every 2 weeks or so.

But, Lord, a $400 water bill and all that water... well, at least it went back into the earth in relatively uncontaminated form.

When your pool pump starts to go, don't repair it. Replace it with a variable speed pump. It'll save you 80% on electricity. Same with the pool light, switch to LED lights and for the heater, go to a low Nox model. Also, switching your pool to salt means you don't add chlorine anymore, so you cut all of the manufacturing involved with bottling it up and getting it to you. Plus, you get a $200 Edison rebate on the new pump. PM me if you want more info on the best equipment, warranties, prices, etc. I don't go to AZ, but I can give you my cost on things so you can haggle the best deal, lol.

Way to revive the dead. :)

An average incandescent pool light is 500 watts. It's life span with normal use is about 2000 hours.
An LED pool light of the same brightness as a 500 watt incandescent bulb is only 40 watts. It's life span with normal use is about 100,000 hours.

Additional benefits of the LED light:
LED has more of a white light. Incandescent has a yellowy hue.
LED lights offer a color changing ability. It frickin' cool!

LED lights cost more initially when changing from incandescent because of the retrofit. But the replacement bulbs in the future are not much more than incandescent.
Even with the initial retrofit expense, it pays for it's self in less than a year.

Thank you for your call.

I was cleaning one of my 500W incandescent pool lights in the shower when I slipped over and it accidentally became inserted in my rectum.

Do you think Liz Hurley and Warnie are really right for each other?

Spud ---my wife had one, if you ever have any electrical problems there is a large female & male wiring harness adapter on the secondary side of the fuses(driver side, left foot). After years they seem to cause problems. Her's burnt up and i replaced it with male and female insulated stakons.
