Awesome! This title practically clones itself and gives it's double a Dutch rudder. :P
....which isn't gay, by the way.

edit: .........not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

I have a couple riffs, but no lyrical ideas just yet. Anyone who does a song about Google+ is dead to me.

Well, the current version of the lyric doesn't mention google+ (I'm not actually there yet, and don't feel any rush to arrive), but it does go on about how the computer tells the singer he has 114 friends, so why does he feel so alone? And goes on to name-check "INTJ."

But I was dead to you guys already, right? And my lyrics generally undergo a lot of revision once I actually start recording them. So who knows? "Something, something, something, something frugal Gus..."

So it's probably time to re-record a couple King Arthur classics:

"Put Cindy Back on the Bus"

Who's it gonna be, which one of us
Is gonna go see mom and say, "let's discuss."
We know she's gonna put up a terrible fuss
But we all think it's time to move mom onto Google Plus.

"Toronto Star"

Back when I was barely seven or eight
They loaded us all on a big yellow bus
And took us on a field trip to Arizona State
To learn about how to use Google Plus

i have too many sets of lyrics of varying degrees of vagueness and typical-den-self-referentialness-of-me and a set of reviews that is 3/4 done and reads like a novel. Terribly long and highly conversational, bloggy, and embarassing. Will require editing.
I have also made about six pianos. This is a week of floppy decision making.

Sometimes it's good to just do reviews in parts. Even if you don't finish them, at least you did some.

...you made 5 pianos and finishing the last one? That's a lot of varnish, yo.

Oh yeah, lalabrookie and I are back for this one. As requested, more of her awesome vox this time. (And actually, none of mine.)

For better or worse (mostly better, I think), during the mix-down I realized that we had made a Corrs song. heh.

Won't be in this time, developed a sore throat and a cold last Wednesday and I'm still nowhere near being able to track any vocals. Had a rough week on some other fronts, too, so maybe next time.

I'm in. Somewhat reluctantly because something went a bit wrong with the voice recording - and there was no time to re-record. So I'm calling this one a 'proof of concept'.

Oh, and it was inspired by "Give Peace a Chance".

Oh, and it's in a fake language.

Looks like I'll be in. I've got the basics recorded, though I had a lot of ideas to bring some flavor to the song that I might not have time to get done tonight.
