I still have every intention of being in.

I've done a complete song, except for lyrics and vocals. D'oh!

Maybe you could just not enter and hang out with BLT, Ben Kreiger and Merisan waiting for Nur Girl's Blouse to start?

Nah, I'm working on it now.

Hey, I'm wondering whether any of the judges feel like chiming in on this - for "shouting," do words need to be intelligible?

I've started and scrapped two song attempts so far. Hopefully the 3rd time is the charm because I'm running out of time! ... Indeed, I have even less time than I thought - I didn't realize it was due tonight at midnight - thought it was tomorrow morning... !!

the idiot kings are in and submitted. shouting outright wasn't appropriate for my song, so i instead took a recording of a crazy woman screaming in the alley behind my work and turned it into a sampler instrument.

/if anyone wants the raw sample, lemme know. it's useful.

I get shouty in mine, but referring to it in the song made it sound tacky...so you're getting singy-shouts, screamies, and ... a grunt like thing... it's round zero so I took liberties, I guess. Hope it's good enough. :)

yeah. This all sounds really attractive, doesn't it?!?

Sent. Like the words, like the shouty choruses. As for the rest, well, I hope the entrants are <25  Off to post in the Lyrics section, as every good l'il Nur Einer should do...

Thanks to my compadres from Jacktown Road (who said, and I quote, "Don't credit me on this recording") for putting up with my guerilla (sp? Damn.) recording "technique". One take & let's get to the next part, heh. We all crowded around the mike for the choruses, and them's my favorite parts of the song.

The rest of it, I'm responsible for. They're blameless for my own twitchy insanity. heh.

My streak at Nur Ein will continue as I have no lyrics, no music, and there's... 2 1/2 hours left to deadline.

Here's to tradition... NUR EIN

Oh, was I supposed to submit a song?
If I had a dollar for every one of my songs j$ has called a 90s pastiche, I'd have $1 for every song I've written.

Still listening to french clown/carnivale music and really digging the Nur Ein lyrics I'm seeing. Did I, for once, achieve the zag when everyone else zigged? Dare to fucking dream, heh. Still hoping the entries are <25 though.
