Glenny, please tell me you aren't jumping ship from Tesla like this article says.
"This person said Tesla employees wereĆ " jumping ship" to work at Apple"

Other than my concern for Glenny's future at Tesla, I really like to hear about the Apple car. This is how the technology will evolve and improve. When billionaires are in a race to out do each other for a niche in the market, and it's for something that's good for the environment, everyone wins.
Electric cars themselves are not where the real future is, it's a lighter, smaller and the longest lasting batteries that will be the biggest technology breakthroughs. Lighter motors will help, but electric motors are already pretty much perfect. 3 moving parts. Two bearings and a shaft.
