7/4/15 Eagles

Complain about your schedule. Apparently people like that sort of thing.

I love the solo of Hotel California, but it's tedious to get there. I love pretty much everything Joe Walsh has ever recorded, so he's the reason I ever listen to the Eagles. I love them as a band, backing up Randy Newman and Linda Rondstadt. The band has been over saturated in classic rock, and most households I've ever been in.

Life in the Fast Lane

Walsh riffs and Eagles harmonies, awesome song.

It's hard to go wrong with "Peaceful Easy Feeling".

I gather from speaking to cool kids from the 70s that there was and still is a lot of anti-Eagles sentiment. Fuckin' corporate sellouts! I used to be in a band with three middle-aged punk rockers who were always hating on the Eagles. But come on, but they're pretty good.

I like Desperado and Hotel California about equally, but whenever I hear Wasted Time, all my childhood memories come back.

I haven't listened enough to make an educated assessment on the best... I will say "Witchy Woman" is among the worst in the "Classic Rock" repertoire...
