I FINALLY DUG MYSELF OUT OF THE 2020 HOLE AND FINISHED MY SONG!
Under Your Breath, title provided by Vom Vorton.
I hope it sounds like I spent two months on it. I had 99% of the instruments done ages ago, but it took me a long time to come up with the lyrics. I was missing a bridge, until I realised the other day that that Fiverr email about how to draw the fucking owl, I mean write the fucking song, was perfect.
I tried lots of new things on this. Recorded three different electric guitars, and even recorded one of them un-amped with a mic, and simultaneously with a line in as well. It also features my new alto recorder and the new mastering plugin that Toshiro bought the other day.

Excellent! I really enjoyed that, excellent dreamy shoegaze vibe and a clever take on the title. Really pleased that you got it finished!

Glad you liked it. I’m definitely wearing my shoegaze on my sleeve of late. Just want to drown in a vat of Luna and Yo La Tengo for weeks.

Re: Circle of Titles - The Return
I had just said to JB the other day that I felt like SF needed more shoegaze. That definitely fits the bill. Well done.

Sorry it's half a year late!

Thank you for coming through with it! I had almost, but not entirely, given up hope. I love the song, too! The harmonies are great, and I appreciate that you took the lyrics in a direction that meshes perfectly with the title, yet avoids the more obvious and cliched ideas. It's perfect, thanks!owl wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 1:10 amSo, uh, it took me until 2021 to dig myself out of the 2020 hole and finish this up, but LICHEN THROAT HERE IS YOUR CIRCLE OF TITLES SONG I WAS PLANNING TO WRITE BACK LAST JULY: Take a Ride in My Boat
