Take THAT, nu-metal
Take THAT, nu-metal
Hi, I'm here as part of the Clever Intarweb Audio Collective, so named because I have a hat that says "CIA" and I like to pretend it's made just for me. So, the CIA is composed of me, the driving force behind Snyder Conglomerate, the lovely and talented Rinkydink of Remixfight, and Jazzy P who draws silly pictures and sometimes beatboxes.
So, when we have properly consolidated our superpowers we will do a songfight. Probably next week.

Hey, I'm not saying he is bad...but what I AM SAYING is that it isn't nu-metal. I kinda like what he has going on. However, it isn't NU-METAL. It might be a NEW form of METAL...but it isn't NU-METAL.
And yes, I would love to school him. (Stateshirt could probalby get a punch in there too) Puce maybe? Jute Gyte fer sher. (If he slow it down here and there)
Hey guy, show me your nu-metal, and I'll show you mine

I didn't mean to imply I did nu-metal. Oopsie. It was a poor choice of words, that's all. In general, I don't believe in genre labels unless they're added retroactively, that is to say I make music in the genre of "hey this could sound cool maybe, let's try it."
As far as nu-metal goes, I love the idea, but mostly I haven't liked the execution that I've seen and the lyrical direction that the mainstream has gone in. So at this point I'm hoping there's an underground political nu-metal movement.
