Kick in the ass

Post by Teplin »

I'm new. I've been aware of songfight for awhile, and finally decided to give it a shot because... I need the structure. Badly. It's embarassing how long I've been recording and how little I've ended up FINISHING. The deadline is just the thing to kick my ass and get me to stop nitpicking everything to death. Forget about winning... If I can follow through and actually complete some songs, I'll be happy. It already seems to be working, I'm almost done with my entry for Hollywood Wax. For me, that IS awesomeness.

Anyway looking forward to seeing how it goes.

Welcome. Get in the ring.

(You have three weeks to submit one entry or I will revive this thread and laugh in it.)

I feel your pain. I have a dozen or so SF entries that I did music or lyrics for and never did the other half. :D

Welcome to SF! Don't suck! :P
From spoken word to actual singing, I can screw up any style with style. :D

Thanks!

I'm in for this fight, too. Songfight is having exactly the effect on me I hoped it would. I still have the urge to nitpick every little thing to death, but I know I CAN'T or I'll miss the fight.
