Re: 55 Minute Frenzies
Go for it, depending on my wife's studies, I may have to cart everything downstairs to the kitchen, but the sun is shining, and I may even perform some really truely embarrasing impromptu strumming type activity on a REAL instrument.... or I might not!!
Although Cock 'n Reist (interesting combo there!) are actively engaged in some nur eining, so don't hold out for them, you make the call!

Re: 55 Minute Frenzies
Cock has said he /may/ take part. Which means that cock'n'spOOn are considering it - that sounds like a much more interesting combination.
Just so you know in advance, there won't be a eurofrenzy next week, as I will be afk/g/m. But check out this idea for an interim solution.

Re: 55 Minute Frenzies
I've just finished my nur ein. I'll very possibly be in for a frenzy this evening, though I can't guarantee.
Re: 55 Minute Frenzies
okay. Starting in just under 15 minutes.
1st Ever Radnoise Swap Frenzy
We're trying a new frenzy format this evening (afternoon for you western folk) - a Swap frenzy.
At 7:30 BST (12:30 FCT) over at radnoise.com
Here's how it looks:
1) 1 hour frenzy - normal rules but emphasis on finishing the song, not high quality recording. Submit the song, without art.
2) Post lyrics, tab, anything else useful
3) Choose another entrant's song and cover it. You have a week
4) At the end of the week, submit your final cover/reworking with art for voting, and marvel at how the original songs have been reinterpreted.
Although you can spend as much time on your cover as you want in the following week, it's expected that it'll be a similar amount of time to that which you spent writing your original. It is a frenzy, after all, and this week's songfight title has posted, not to mention nur ein, and all the other excitements.
The deadline will be 7:30 BST on Sunday 18th

Eurofrenzy 9 - 5pm bst / 10 am fct 26/05/2008
EDIT - updated time - now earlier due to Eurovision!
I am planning a Eurofrenzy this saturday, 26th May.
It will take place at 5pmBST, unless more people can take part if it is earlier.
For the sake of anyone who might not know what a Eurofrenzy is:
65 minutes to
* write a song (based on the title announced at the start of the competition) and
* draw cover art (250px wide, ~250px high).
Then review/vote for the best and chat about the whole thing.
All taking place in the forums over at radnoise.com.
Hope to see you there!
