Re: Nur Ein X - Round Seven
Congratulations Nick Soma! The battle was long. The competition was tough. You stuck it out and when the smoke cleared, you were the one still standing. Nur Ein!

And can I say in hindsight - very well deserved because Nick did not submit a single bad song (in my opinion) from memory.
There were some Cavedwellers songs I didn't like
I didn't like the last ATLM song
I didn't like the song Carlo got kicked out for
I did generally like all of FBF's songs - but Nick's later songs I liked better
I generally liked all of Pedro's songs - but Nick was just as consistent
A very well deserved winner I think. Well done Nick.
Rip a carrot up your arse.

Re: Nur Ein X - Round Seven
Yes, Nick Soma turned in interesting and varied material throughout the contest, nary a dud among the bunch, and his "Dogs of War" was a stirring conclusion to a great run of songs.
Last year, as a newcomer, Nick impressed the judges and earned a perfect score in Round Five. This year, in spite of consistently good scores, he didn't actually win a round until this week, which just goes to show that it's always anyone's game.
Oddly, I've had his "Standing on the Edge" stuck in my head all week, too.
Well done, Nick! Congratulations!
