fluffy wrote:Funny, for me "putting the songs up somewhere" seems like the easiest part. It's the assigning and cat-herding and sending a bunch of PMs manually (even with copy-paste) and so on that seems like the difficult bit.
I think you took me more literally than I intended.
Original Flava, not Total Request, Octothorpe is in. I am itching to record a song, even if it's a cover. And Mad Dog will be in town in a few weeks...

JB
I'd like to be in, whether we get to pick from back catalog, or have songs assigned.
Got mine, thanks! Could you maybe update your first post in this thread so that it lists everybody who is in and then maybe also includes the links when the fight is announced? Just so it's easy to find the official links? Thanks!

As if anyone pays attention to deadlines for these kinds of fights...
Ken's Super Duper Band 'n Stuff - Berkeley Social Scene - Tiny Robots - Seamus Collective - Semolina Pilchards - Cutie Pies - Explino! - Bravo Bros. - 2 from 14 - and more!
i would just like to remind everyone that Ken eats kittens - blue lang
I will repeat what I said in the PM here, for easy reference:
Once you are happy with your rendition, you may submit it by either:
Attaching it as an MP3 to a private message on the forum (PREFERRED)
Attaching it to an email sent to fluffy[at]beesbuzz[dot]biz
Uploading it somewhere to the web and emailing or PMing me the link (LEAST RECOMMENDED)
Take a time machine into the past and bury it at the specified coordinates (burial coordinates will be provided via entangled p-brane on September 26, 2193)
You must be happy with your rendition by Monday, March 21, 2016.
I should have been more specific that for option 1 it should be a PM to me. :)

And the hardest part seems to be not listening to the covers as they come in.
Thanks, Paco. Reminder that the deadline will have been in a week from tomorrow except that it's probably gonna get extended because I haven't even started on mine yet and don't have access to a studio for the next week.
I've got Logic and an iPad, and I guess this cellphone headset is Good Enough for recording vocals (or maybe Fred and Samantha can make another appearance).
