Re: the Trechies - Casio Keyboard
It's definitely weird enough for Song Fight. Plus, Casio keyboard, also very Song Fight. Who are these guys? Is one of them really named "Evan Hansen", like the character from the musical/movie?

I don't know anything about them. They just showed up in my Spotify new releases playlist and I've been checking out the different albums on that list. This one was pretty good and then I heard this song and wanted to share it.

I started listening to this album:
https://wearethetrenchies.bandcamp.com/ ... famous-dad
And it's kinda giving me Brother Machine vibes. They've got an old school pop/power pop influence it seems like. "The Giving Up Song" brings in backup vocals, and piano as the core instrument, in a way that reminds me strongly of The Ben Folds Five.
