Mine's done. Just mixing details to do.

I knew Australia was weird, Kangaroos, Platypii, Caravan Ray, and Half-Hour time zones.

I thought mine was done, but I gotta go back and tweak the mix a little. Which is going to cut into my valuable Wii time, I'll have you know.

I'm nearly done. It just needs drums and some more odd percussion.

Hopefully i can get some pots and pans in time. I also need to BS a guitar solo. but if this thing works.... it'll rock your world. 8)

Jee-zus, this thing is mutating like a '50s sci-fi movie misunderstood teen science experiment in the 3rd act. Down to lyrics and the final mix.

Darn my luck. Might have to respectfully bow out this time around. We'll see how tonight goes, but I don't see how I can possibly finish this on time.

Oh well. Better luck next year!

Done and Submitted!
Getting started was frustrating, in fact I wrote lyrics for a song and we started it and then scrapped it and started over with something that was more fun. And it was a lotta fun and I must say I'm feeling pretty confident with this one.

WreckdoM is in it to win it, we're bringing our A game, firing on all cylinders and if you ain't, prepare to eat our dust! NUR EIN!!!

That is one hell of a bed frame. Did it come in that dashing shade of pink?

The bed frame: I think Leg's Dad made it from scratch many years ago. It isn't such a hard thing to imagine, he rebuilds entire cars. So yes, it has always been that intense shade of pink.

You know those dinosaurs that you squeeze and they make a weird screaming sound? I used my old one for record scratching noises and screaming for this song. It's not too obvious, since the song itself didn't really need it that bad, but obvious enough that the judges will notice it no problem.

i got 'scratching' noises by rubbing one of the drum sticks against a metal ruler (pic 1, on top of the beer carton).

Lesson learned during Round Zero:

When collaborating via email, plan to have twice as much time as you would usually spend on a song by yourself. Ah well, the first ever song by Ice 9 is complete.

After 3 hours of unwanted overtime, I'm finally home to do the vocals and final mix and is it fucking hailing outside? And me with the alt-percussion already done.

This is going to sound really interesting...

The "bongos" in our song are really our tupperware. Ken can come over to verify this if necessary, or I can post a video of me jamming out on them.

Sadly, I'ma have to bow out of this. I couldn't get anything done. (good call, Niv, starting this one the weekend I get my daughter, and also the week when work decides to get crazy busy)

I think I had a good idea for percussion, door knocks and doorbells (I mean, come on- 'Let Me in')

Anyway, sorry I couldn't grace (or disgrace) you with my presence in this thing, but such is life. Good luck to those who did get a song done, and I might just play along at home anyway.
