Billy's Little Trip wrote:did you have the music professionally mastered?
All done at home - mixed/mastered by me. To be honest, most of the songs don't sound as good as those ones, but 'One Thing' may be the best mixing job I have done up until this point.Caravan Ray wrote:Did you record that all yourself at home? Or did you get some outside mixing/mastering or whatever?
I didn't know that until a week after I ordered it. I was on vacation, and I walked past the traveler's inn, and I winced. I'm just telling everyone it was an intentional artistic change.Billy's Little Trip wrote: By the way, there is only one "L" in traveler's.

No pretending! Maybe we do spell it that way in Canada. I should check a Canadian dictionary.Caravan Ray wrote:...or he could pretend to be Canadian. Or Australian, or New Zealander, or Indian - or pretty much anyone else on earth who can spell properly.
Cool. Glad to hear you enjoy it. 100% of my current customers are now satisfied.jimtyrrell wrote:Oh yeah! I meant to tell you, JR: I got mine in the mail, and it's great.

The last time I looked into it, CafePress was a complete and utter ripoff. Maybe their prices have come down since then, but I think the only reason people even use their overpriced service is because they don't know any better ("oh hey they make shirts and hey CDs too!") and so as a result everyone goes to them by default.
Check out Mixonic instead. Seriously. Hell, most disc pressers also have an on-demand or short-run service these days which is WAY cheaper and higher-quality than Cafepress garbage.
