Anyone dismissed this as British Scrubs? easily done but what a fool you would be to do so.
The first series has started being repeated in a run up to the start of the new one and I just remembered how fucking funny it is. Some of it's a bit surreal but they do pretty much guarantee a couple of tear-inducing moments per episode. Good cast too, with a couple of gems in Stephen Mangan (I'm Alan Partridge, Friday Night Armistice) and Mark Heap (Spaced, Big Train).
dvd out in April, I am there.

A friend of mine with cable recorded the first series of Green Wing onto a DVD and lent it to me.
OH MY GOD!
Truly funny shit. I love the syle of it, the way its constructed kind of like a skit show, with short gag driven scenes, but the whole thing is driven by an overall story.
That Doctor of Radiology putting himself up for auction as a slave, dressed as a Gladiator, and being won by his trouble making student was hilarious.
