Repost of my reviews from the old old forum.

avarice - i can hardly hear the vocals. and what i do hear sounds like it's off-balance, constantly trying to stand up straight. the instruments sound like they're played all separately. too long for what's in it.

narwhal - the vocals could be cool with some long delays, so the ends of the lines kinda return and fade as you sing. that would be cool. i like the music here pretty well. that synth at 2:30 is cool. the vocals aren't doing it for me, though.

caravanray - these vocals sound muffled, which is weird. it comes in audibly at 1:00, which is better, but why does it sound so muffled? i seem to remember you having better recording capabilities in the past. anyway, this is a good song, if better recorded.

ken - this is charming. i like it. the vocals aren't technically that good, but they don't bother me.

jim tyrrell - catchy. i like the vocals a lot. nice style. "angel dressed all in red" is good. nice.

sonofsupercar - sometimes the vocals seem out of whack, but this generally cool. sample might be too loud? i have no idea what this is about but i kinda like it.

wreckdom - this is interesting. it's like it's played at slow-speed. don't think i like that sample. it does drag a bit. i just saw the fast version and that's kind of amusing.

bjam - this doesn't excite me. it's pretty standard g&g without something to make it stand out. the vocals are only ok.

los hermanos - i like the meeting in church thing for some reason. this is pretty nice, but i think i want it to change more, make it more dynamic, before the very end.

josh w - i like the lyrics. this is a nice song.

1: ken, jim t, sos, los hermanos, josh
2: caravanray
